Tara strong voices some pretty interesting characters
I must say, one thing we can all agree on is that its interesting that in the stages, they kinda merge the environments of the universes from each game (like how in that ratchet&clank stage, they had this hydra dragon pop up). I kinda hope the next smash bros finds a way to do that with their battle maps as well.
On a side note, i hope they come up with a interesting way to make the stages' environments affect gameplay somehow. Would kinda be boring without stage-specific gimmicks ya know.

Her Pirate Princess costume actually makes her look pretty badass..lol.
He's pretty good. Close-Mid ranged fighter with nice blow back from his attacks. His first two supers aren't all that great, his third one is the one best used in a fight since you can get up to 6 kills with it in a single go
I'm inclined to try out every character in a game like this so yeah I'll give her a try.
Playing Fat Princess is a lot like playing MvC3: You've got to know when to bring out an assist.
The Combat systems in this and Brawl are quite different. Each character has access to more special attacks, there is no percentage based health system, and (according to how they are advertising the game) the majority of the game appears to be based on building up super meter in order to perform special attacks. The only way you can die appears to be getting hit by a super attack. I hope that it won't be to easy to turtle with characters that are long-ranged based though (the guy from Killzone)
Shes actually a pretty fun character
she's technical yes... you gotta learn how to chain her own moves with the Villager attacks, but once you do, she's crazy
You shouldn't hate anyone. More video game competition means better games for every console. Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Windows, Mac, whatever... they're all fun.

I really think I'm gonna like this characters. The up-attack reminds me of Links swords spin and Marios coin up smash.

I did hear they were on "other modes" and that Stock specifically was one of them, but what's reverse stock?
Some other suggestions: King of the Hill, add a challenge tower of some sort, have an entertaining single player experience, customize the level of bots, allow players to control what items spawn (if any), and it would also be great if you could make stages. Most of the stages look fun, but invasive. Allow users to make a stage, submit it, and then they could be rocking it LBP Style.

While I would never consider this game in my radar, if I did, my main would be fat princess. XD
To boost sales, they've obviously saved the best characters for last. Crash will definitely make an appearance

Actually, Abe will most likely be DLC since the company that makes the Oddworld games has been trying to contact Superbot so they could get Abe in the game. Journey character should totally get in as DLC if he/she can't make it into the game.

2: Hypothetically speaking, Sony has more than enough series to use for a game like this; SuperBot's just using 3rd-parties due to their relevance to Sony's history (for example, Tekken games on home systems were nearly exclusive to Sony up until Tekken 6, and Dante was an inspiration for some of Sony's later action-oriented heroes) as well as to advertise upcoming games (Bioshock Infinite, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 & DmC Devil May Cry.)

fat princess is amazing in the beta. whoever doesnt like her doesnt know how to use her or didnt pay attention in this vid. u have to use the villagers to setup combos. try using forward O attack in the air (launches warrior diagonal) the follow up. your warrior knock people do for good combos
The same as if I said "Seriously I gotta know... who is actually likes winter and wants to go play around in the freezing cold?" that doesn't mean I think everyone should hate the season, its means I personally dislike the subject and I want to hear from other people, "who enjoys what I dislike." that is all. Just like the old saying goes, if you assume you will make an ass out of yourself because as I stated before, I never once said what you implied and I'll say it now. No one should hate her.
I think this is the first time to see a plus sized female usable in a video game.
Just because you dislike her doesn't mean that everyone else has to.
Actual FP strategy:
Do whatever you want and build ridiculous AP with minions. Proceed to get mad kills with excellent supers.
Crash Bandicoot and Spyro are both owned by Activision. SuperBot entertainment likely already asked to use them. Activision probably asked for a huge fee to put them in the game, and Sony/SuperBot likely thought that money could be better spent elsewhere.
Couldn't help but notice that her lvl 3 is basically Pit/Dedede's Final Smash.
What a cutiepie! She's like if Melissa McCarthy (of "Bridesmaids" and "Mike and Molly" fame) were a videogame character. It's awesome to see a BBW fighting game character, big girls need love and respect just as much as skinny girls!

I main Peach in Melee/Brawl, so I can already see myself gravitating to Fat Princess. Limited range, risk/reward character is my kinda style, but in a game like this, it'll be a real pain in the ass to get in.
thank you! As much as i can't wait for this game and love the idea, this is the one thing i don't like and the one thing which makes me reconsider. I'm glad im not the only one who thinks this, but of course Sony probably won't change the K.O. system

At least the second Cole has different moves. lol I don't like it either but the reasoning was so they could have a Ryu/Ken, Scorpion/Sub-Zero, Mario/Luigi thing going on. lol
I wonder, who his rival would be if he's somehow in the full game. I know his stage would probably be Rapture Farms and would fit well with Rapture from Bioshock being the mash up. Anyway, yeah Abe should be one of those characters with the best chance as DLC. (i even made up a moveset for him)

Um...many other crossover and fighting games have included character who aren't fighters. Roll, Servbot, Amingo and Phoenix Wright were all non fighters in the Marvel vs Capcom games and lots of the characters in Smash Bros like Peech, Mr Game and Watch and Olimar weren't fighters either but that didn't mean they were unwelcomed editions.
Okami was originally PS2 and very popular in Japan so that increases Amaterasu's chances especially with 3rd party characters already on board. Nana isn't really playable, it's Popo you control and Jigglypuff was confirmed as a she both in game and in several smash guides main site so including her you get 4 PLAYABLE females with the others simply being alternate versions (shiek, zero suit). Based on all stars current confirmed roster it sticks to the common gender ratio for most fighting games.
Rare use to belong to nintendo, ninja theory is third party and epic is also third party. So if xbox does make one it will only have third party characters and a few exclusive characters.
They have Nariko from Heavenly Sword now :D that's a pretty good character to break up the sausage fest.

Zelda and shiek were just alternate versions of the same character and so was Samus and Zero Suit Samus.

For those who think she's a knock off of Princess Peach, she isn't a knock of because the game she's from is a capture the flag like game not a Mario rip off.
the game is identical to smash in the way it looks. but gameplay and controls are different and the rule to winning are different as well. DON had the same gameplay but no one complains about that
im sure that they are making alternate costumes but from what i saw the pirate costume is here alternate
She's a pretty good character, so I will. She'll be my sub. I'm gonna laugh if she's top tier and everyone starts using her.
If they're gonna do that then why not just put James Sunderland from Silent Hill 2 in there as well?
YEAH, his delightful "character trait" will surely put a smile to everybody's faces when they see him in a fighting game. It's not like he was in a game that was depressing or anything.
By the way Fat Princess is called "Obesity Lady" (but, of course, with Jap' symbols/letters) in Japan.

A lot of the stuff you suggested was in the beta leak, but I have no idea what reverse stock is, and the make your own stage thing would be awesome.

Relax, I didn't know that. Sorry if you took my comment the wrong way, I didn't mean to be harsh. I guess Lightning, Aqua and/or Serah making it in isn't as unlikely as I thought. I still don't think the other characters you mentioned are going to be included, but who knows, maybe I'm wrong. We'll have to wait and see.
you do know Crash Bandicoot is from naugthy dog, the same company that made drake? and the creaters of Spyro is Insomniac Games
Smash Bros didn't invent super moves. In fact, they dropped the ball BIG TIME when including the smash ball into SSBB. It was sloppy and didn't feel right at all. Superbot based the combat around Level 1,2, and 3 supers so there's a chance they got it right.

well i thought this character was pretty crappy until i saw this. I think im gonna be using her a lot
they said more are going to be announced.. i kno at Gamescom they are gonna announce some characters, and they said in a interview they are going to try and put as many in the game as possible and not worry about DLC
Love that idea!
Sony helps push hundreds of independent games that would never be available on console otherwise. With almost as many exclusive franchises released in the last year as Nintendo have Mario games, which is a lot because they release a game with Mario characters yearly constantly 'innovating' with the same characters, the same story and the same concepts. I suppose you class "this game was successful lets release it again, constantly, in the formats of other successful games" as innovative though.
All the other characters strategy videos are don e, I guess i'll watch this one.
I would enjoy it if Abe was in the main game. (That way he could partake in any story mode they had in mind. But really I get your point. DLC would be great for these guys.
p.s. I'm just a little P*ssed off that Cole McGrath fills up 20% of the roster.
Am I the only one who hates people bitching about Crash Bandicoot not being announced (yet) in EVERY Playstation All-Star video? This one is for Fat Princess and there's not many comments on her. Besides, Activision owns Crash now so it's not Playstation's fault if they can't add him (or Spyro), they're not even entirely Playstation exclusive now.
Yeah I gotta agree, If they were gonna put a character from a PSN game it should have been the robed figures from journey.

They are going to include 3rd party characters so it's possible they bring in characters like Chun-li from Street fighter like what they did for Heihachi on Tekken and there's still the possibility to bring in characters from various RPG's like Final fantasy, Dragon quest and Disgaea. Japanese games tend to have more female leads so if they bring in more from the Japanese PS games they'll have a few.

Activision is the current owner of both Crash and Spyro, if Naughty Dog still owned Crash and Insominiac Games owned Spyro they would be here, no doubt.
