Was just in Paris 2 weeks ago and crossed paths with these 2 lovely folks at the musee de Carnavalet. Cant say enough about how welcoming they were and how down to earth. Thanks for all the great content and keep it coming!
After years of watching Anthony Bourdain, I haven’t seen any one online or on tv that I like to watch explore new restaurants until I found you two on UA-cam. As a Francophile, this is a treat. Thank you Les Frenchies ❤
We were in Paris for the first week of July. On your recommendation we made a reservation and had dinner at Camille. It was the best meal of our stay. The staff was excellent from the bartenders to the wait staff. The food was excellent. We had a table inside next to a window and enjoyed watching the activity on the street. Thanks so much for a great suggestion.
We found Le Petit Pontoise on our first trip to Paris in 2014 and have returned twice since, last in October 2023! We love eating there and have always been surprised that it was not mentioned. Happy you shared your review!
Salt is a taste booster, so it can go very well with any dessert or otherwise sugary stuff like a fruit salad. Just a pinch, though. Don't go crazy with the salt shaker. PS: On the other end of the spectrum, a lot of savory things do very well with a little honey.
You two discover such wonderful places! The only problem, those are your wonderful places, and they vary. Your gift to us is simple. Enjoy What You Can…It’s Paris After All!
Bonjour Colleen and Antoine from NYC : early Sunday morning viewing at its best! Terrific restaurant suggestions that look scrumptious ! Best Paris and surrounds video site on the internet -- as I have said before ! Enjoy the day while we bake here at 95 degree heat for several days ! WOW !
I usually love your vlogs - they remind me of very happy times visiting France, Paris and other regions. This vlog reduced me to tears, anger, emotional, envy, depression! I sat so close to my TV I hoped some magic had been created so you could give me a taste! I wanted everything you ordered. The biggest upset was seeing the Foie Gras then the Bone Marrow dish. I was so lucky to have friends live in the Périgord region - Foie Gras everyday! I became an addict - I went from the 'I do not approve' type of man to agreeing to taste it, to becoming the Foie Gras Ambassador to the world. I'll get over the jealousy, I am sure! Thank you so much for your vlogs - to people like me, they mean ever so much. Thank you both.
You two are so nice! I am half french half italian, we eat always in this way. We are thin , we know how to mix all ingredients and meals. Nice nice to wacht you two. God bless you!
I just booked our trip to Paris for October, and I am rewatching your videos to plan our time there. I can’t wait, and your bistro recommendations will be perfect to make our trip more memorable! Thanks for all your great work on these videos!
Thanks to your recommendation, our family went to La Jacobine for lunch. Our meal was divine, the staff so friendly and accommodating, such a charming place which really made holiday memories for us!
I was there for lunch earlier today. Chef and co-owner Shaan and his nephew Luoca were there. The other co-owner Christian will be there for the evening. It is located at a quiet street in the 6th arrondissement. The tarama, made with fish roe, was light and flavorful. The sea bass tasted a bit like snapper and was delicious. The brioche dessert is a dream! Very reasonably priced - €60 for three courses + one champagne + one rose wine. I will go back when I am next in the 6th arrondissement.
Wondering if you could do a short video on using the French post office for those who would like to mail back goodies to the states to reduce luggage weight.
OMG - you ate at the St Regis. We ate there many times. Right across the street is the La Brasserie de l'Isle Saint-Louis . Another great place to eat.
I remember learning that "am scram gram ..." -- the French version of "eenie meenie miney mo" -- in French class freshman year of college a VERY long time ago! Like, 42 years ago.
I just discovered your wonderful channel! Looking for Olympic information but you have lots more to offer. Back in my airline captain days, Paris was my favorite layover. My most visited restaurant was probably Chez Gladines at Butte aux cailles. They serve authentic Basque cuisine. After dinner, you can walk to cocktail bar Sputnik which is close by and has a very 1960's vibe.
Bonjour Antoine and Colleen! Another extraordinary video! I’m so hooked to your channel! The first thing I do on Saturday morning is checking your weekly video! Love them! I have a couple of questions: I read somewhere that there’s going to be a new metro line connecting Orly airport to the center of Paris. Is this accurate? Also, I know we can’t use our Navigo cards during the Olympics. What if you have them already and it’s charged with a few trips? I’ll arrive in Paris on July 18 and I’m buying a “carnet” of tickets before the price goes up on the 20! Last, would you, please, make a video on renting a bike for a day in Paris? The place you recommended to go rent the bike and specially how you turn it on and off. Love you guys and thank you for what you do! Merci bien et bonne journée!
I have been subscribed to your channel since the early days. I am so pleased for you at how fast it has grown. I love your videos, thank you for sharing Paris & France with us. I especially love all the restaurant videos. When I was in Paris many years ago many restaurants had a Pre Fix ont the menu. Do they do that much anymore? If so I would love to see a video on the restaurants you feel do it well. Again thank you so much for all your fabulous & entertaining videos. Much continuing success to you both.
Oh, la la la!!! I so wish I could have tried everything when I was there last! It’s breakfast time here in California …so guess what I’m having? Pain perdu!!! The bone marrow was always my son’s favorite side dish…I wish I had the money and the leg strength 😫…I would like to return and stay for a while and try these different places starting with the St. Regis, yummy! And find the best place for my favorite salad frisée aux lardons with a big slice of tarte citron…two of my favorite things to eat in Paris but all of your dishes looked “good enough to eat”!!!😂 much love, you guys🥰
Looking forward to our next trip to Paris. Everything looked so delicious. Thank you for sharing. If you are in Phoenix we recommend Anhelo--the food and service are excellent
Mouthwatering prices and the dessert and espresso weren't included in the first bill. Wow. Great work if you can get it. San Pellegrino water is over $10.00 US at the second location?
I’m re-watching your food videos as we are visiting Paris this October. I also got your Restaurant and Street Food guides, so thank you for those! Am I correct in assuming that we will need to reserve ahead of time for most of these spots? How far in advance would you suggest? We have a week in Paris, so I’m looking forward to trying quite a few of your recommended spots. You two make them look so inviting and the food so delicious! Thanks for sharing your experiences with us! Greetings from Ottawa, Canada!
ok that duck confit with foie gras looked insane. pontoise goes on my ever growing list. antoine, what temp do you order your steak? i generally get à point, but last couple of times at different restuarants, i've found it to be slightly mealy on the edges. may have to brave saignant next time. another great video, thank you!
Your videos are so joyous! I am sorry some of your respondents are so ill mannered as to post comments critical of your dress or touring choices. Viewers, if you don't like what you see, turn it off and mind your own damn business. The rest of us are enjoying watching their enthusiasm for life! Keep it up Les Frenchies!!!
We have done a bunch of restaurant videos (including a long compilation with many). The thing to consider with kids has more to do with what they like. French fries are served everywhere. In most restaurants you should be able to find a steak (ask for no sauce), roasted chicken (simple with roasted or Mashed potatoes), chicken tenders, burger and fries, simple pasta dishes, pizza... I don't think it's a hard as most people think it is. But then again, our kids weren't extra picky.
Heading to Paris for Bastille day national celebration and to visit Olympic park. Would be nice to have local knowledge on the must see July 14th events and best viewing of the fireworks in the night. The channel is very helpful in planning the 5 day trip. Thanks
Wow! You two eat the best food ever, and your descriptions are really great. I know who to watch before I go to France!! May I offer a suggestion?: My husband & I get confused, sometimes, thinking we already saw a video or think you just took a couple of restaurant visits & put them together🤔 because you're in the black & white striped shirt with the red scarf...If you change up what you're wearing, the viewers won't think they've seen the video over & over....just a thought... it's the way brains work.👍 Love your channel (as long as we eat first before we watch it)😄🙂❤️👍
Excellent stuff @LesFrenchiesTravel. We are there in 2 weeks so this is great timing. We like St Regis, it is a great place just to sit outside. For the Canard how do you say "how the chef wants it" for the cooking? I normally stick to "à point" or occasionally "saignant".l
Any recommendations on restaurants that serve Sole Meunière? It's rare to find it on the menu in the states and I imagine in Paris, as well, as it is extremely expensive. Thanks for these informative and entertaining videos!

Bonjour, Les Frenchies. You both have such a wonderful joie de vivre; it's a pleasure to watch every video.
St. Regis is our favorite restaurant in the world. Such a wonderful place with amazing staff. So happy to see them here. Can't wait to return.
The BEST review for any dish is ... Antoine's reaction!
Bonjour Antoine and Colleen. My Saturday morning is complete 😊❤

Love how you put your videos together, you guys are seriously entertaining !
I love Colleen,s shirt consistency.
So happy for this installment and I appreciate the authentic camera work and fun they have.
You two make great entertaining & informative videos, a fan from Australia.
Such a fun video to start my Saturday off right! Thanks!
Chez Fernand was indeed fabulous! And the St-Regis is my absolute favourite. Great new recos too!!!
I’m watching this at 11 in the morning and want this food 😊. Great video as always 🎉.

Salt makes you salivate. A little salt on watermelon makes it taste sweeter.
We just happen to find the St. Regis after visiting Notre Dame last year. The food is divine! Staff was very accommodating and kind.
What a lovely collection of meals! And the choice is just amazing! Thank for all these beautiful selections.
You two are the best!
You two discover such wonderful places! The only problem, those are your wonderful places, and they vary. Your gift to us is simple. Enjoy What You Can…It’s Paris After All!
We’ll be in Paris for my birthday in two weeks thank you for this
Have a wonderful time in Paris!
Have a great birthday celebration! It should be epic. 🎉😊
So will I LOL. I can't believe how bloody old I am
Yay ! Have a great time!
I love watching your videos because it reminds me of my several trips to France!🇫🇷 Food, cities and hill to villages!
Great recommendations! Another “souvenir” of one of the best days in Paris ever! Merci du fond du cœur ❤️ 🥰
When I go to Paris, I will do "finger dance" like Antoine😂
It's called "taste bud conducting." 😍
Eenie meenie minie moe
Please don’t.
I’m considering stopping watching their videos it’s so annoying.
It's a Synphony
"Finger dancing" with French food is famous like Fromage, Faisan, Favouille or Frites
Love this videos , might actually check out these places when going to Paris next time 😋
Thank you, guys, I love your videos: honest reviews of the greatest places
Yes! Finally a food post❤
Love your scarves from Australia 🇦🇺

We ate at Chez Fernand Christine. Great service, huge wine list and the best traditional French food!
I just booked our trip to Paris for October, and I am rewatching your videos to plan our time there. I can’t wait, and your bistro recommendations will be perfect to make our trip more memorable! Thanks for all your great work on these videos!
All the food looks so delicious💕
If I visited Paris I would eat out 3 times a day to try as many meals as possible💕

Was there last first week of May to celebrate my birthday and I love Paris and will definitely coming back! ❤️😊
Colleen and Antoine, you are the best!
Hi friends, all the food dishes you recommend look delicious and special, I hope you will be more successful 😊
Oh my word! I spent a quick 36 hours in Pars several years ago and we ate lunch at the Saint-Regis. Amazing.
I'm looking forward to a summer food edition!!

The Saint Regis is a great spot for a drink or meal anytime. Really great food.
I Subscribed. That food sounded delicious. And the prices sounded Delicious 😋 too...
Beer drinking game, every time Coleen says "light". 2 glugs when she says "really light". But I love your food descriptions.
All your food look delicious and wonderful places

tarama is a spread with fish roe (recipe based on salted, cured roe, often cod)
Leave it to you two to show us great restaurants and food. Yummo! My mouth is watering. Prices look look like they are on the rise, no?
