Good stuff there, Martin. The trains are very interesting. They would make a great video. You're building up a good inventory of Tonka Toys. Well done.
Cheers Gerry, yeah the train set is a nice little set definitely be doing a couple of videos, and the tonka garage is expanding nicely. All the best Martin
That Martin would make a nice diorama with the triple “O”or a small layout for pushing the pieces around 👍., really nice tin plate tonka dump truck sure would be a great restoration,a 007 diecast would definitely make a interesting build too. My good friend you definitely got a great haul this month for sure lots of diecast goodies & some tin plate, parts etc..take care Martin, see ya on your next build.👋😎🚒🛻🚚🚚🚃🚂
Hi Martin very interesting little lot you have their with the Lonestar railway system you don't see many of them really cool. Would look ace all set up give them a clean maybe with a few bits or senary and diorama. Also great little lot from Tony.👍
1:25 now that's an interesting time-correct design. :) I'm sure they pegged it futuristic back when. :) 3:59 No escape, kid! ;) 8:35 back in these days, when racecar drivers could found their own team. :) nice condition, this one. 21:45 nice, a Guildsman with intact windscreen unit. :) 23:20 looks silver-plated. is this one from those gift displays? maybe the inkpot assembly, methinks. 27:59 nice. got one of these, too, but mine is a bit smashed. :) 36:00 I caught some pieces of this railway, mostly straight and curved tracks, a number of crossings, and a few gauges; some wagons and two incomplete diesel engines. they guy who runs the used toys shop downtown says he has a complete collection of lonestars N-gauge, and those pieces are the doublets and leftovers. :P 46:27 nice, one of Dinky's first. :) I purchchased one off ebay from england. it was cheaper than the others, and turned out they restored it, too. though it looks so natural, no idea how they got out the baseplate to paint it... 1:06:43 ooh, I have this one, too! only little speckles of rust... once again, it was like flea market. :) that's quite the pile you have there. ^^
Another great lot of buys and gifts! Love the 1:24 scale Jaguar for your collection. I would absolutely LOVE to see a video dedicated to this train set and any other trains you have! I don't think you celebrate Thanksgiving over there but I'll wish you and yours a happy time during the upcoming winter holidays.
Thanks very much, my dear friend. No, we don't have Thanksgiving over here,we have a similar thing it's called Harvest Festival it's basically the same but more low key .
Nice eye opener for a kick off. Top of the battery box is missing from the Caddy ambulance. Mini interiors fit the Corgi Austin A40. Transporter trailer was the later one that went with the Bedford TK cab. Hinge link rods held by crimps underneath top & bottom carriers.
Great amount of models there martin some nice stuff there mate really like that small scale train layout would definitely like to see more on that its a very clever little set , glad to see you had some more tonka style models hope to see you doing some of them in future resto videos take care mate
17:10 That 'BP' Tanker, didn't they also make an 'ESSO' one/version? 17:36 Oooohhhh...Yes. Now I need to find an example for my collection. 22:14 I've never seen a White one, always the Spectraflame Red. 25:24 WhizWheels, I'll have to look in my collection to see if I have one and if it's White.
That's a massive haul this month Martin, you're going to be busy. Hope you restore the Matchbox King Size Dodge tipper truck and trailer soon, I don't have one yet but really like those. Best wishes. Peter.
A very nice collection of model there Martin. the N gauge railway I had one on a old Door that I could put under my Bed it was a electric diesel model with about 8 carriage enrolling stock . It got boring going round and round in a circle so I would see how many carriages he would pull up a hill by putting my pillow under one end I can't remember how many it pulled but a good laugh when your 7 . Take care Ralph
I really appreciate your efforts! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Hi Ron, it think maybe you have me mixed up with someone else your watching, because I haven't a clue what your talking about ,unless I have missed something. All the best Martin
I had a big message here a minute ago, but I pressed the wrong tit and it all went! Bollocks. I did watch to the end and had loads of wittering to add, but it has all gone. Enjoyed the video though!
Hi mate, did you here about the paper bag bandit? He has a paper bag hat, a paper bag waistcoat, a paper bag shirt, a paper bag pair of pants and paper bag shoes. What's he wanted for?.....RUSTLEN!🤣🤣😂😂 Holy moly what a stack of cars and trucks to do. I for one would love to see you do the ooo trains up on a diorama, it would be neat little set up. If you ever end up with a spare long wheel base Ford transit van the older one with the sliding front doors or a Ford Escort early van you don't need let me know. I'll pay you for them, I just can't find any on ebey. I want to do the Transit up like the band van I had in the ninety's, and the Escort as the cleaning van Juliet and I had with our house cleaning business. I was going to set up my flying Scotsman train set and put the Christmas tree up in the middle but the boss recons we don't have enough room.😫 So about ten years ago Juliet's cousin sent us a battery operated Christmas train that go's around the track and play's Christmas Carrols. So that is what I have going around the tree, I'll send you a vid. Our Christmas tree is from Juliet's family from back in the sixty's, it has a green pained metal stand, a green painted broomstick and some large green pipe cleaners things of different sizes as branches. It has a lot of sentimental value as do our decorations, both from her family and mine so we wouldn't dream of replacing them. I remember when my family first came to Australia in 1964, dad had a bit of trouble finding a full time job for a while. One Christmas my sister and I never got any presents and Christmas dinner was bangers and mash.🤣🤣 One year when I was about 11 I bought my dad a packet of the old type square razer blades and rapped them up as a tinny present, I rapped up another packet years latter and they are my favourite tree ornament and are still put on the tree every year without fail. Stay safe mate catch you on the next one.👍🏻🎅🏻
Hi Geoff, the transit ,it is a dinky toys ,thay made a few ,police/moter way/ and fire engine, if that's the one you mean ,I will see what I have ,the mk1 Escort van now that's a hard to find one ,but I can have a look when I go to toy fairs and such .
