Just found your channel. Love your array of items but especially the Springerle cookie molds or stamps. This cookie has been a cookie my family has made for over 4 generations . I hope you will enjoy making them and enjoy eating them too.
Wow you have a great thrift and vintage stores. Somewhat expensive for some items there though. The red avon dishes do make a lovely Christmas table. The red transfer ware is gorgeous. You found and got everything I would have purchased, some gems for sure. So just learned the other day you can put a taper candle in very warm water and let it heat up and soften the wax, then take out and twist to get those expensive twisted candles. I have several brass candle holders throughout my house, I love them also. For the bow napkin, start the folding in from the point and it will hide it inside.
Oh wow I will have to try the candle trick. I haven’t purchased the fun trusted ones because they’re so expensive so this would be a fun project. Thank you!
I didn't realize savers was anywhere outside of my state lol! I'm about to watch the diy vid. I love that you are younger and still love these beautiful historical items
My mother started buying me bird houses which I displayed in my kitchen in the area above the cabinets. After a few years I wanted a different more sheik look and sold all the bird houses to one buyer. Later as I started seeing Christmas trees in different themes I was kicking myself… I realized I could have used them in a Christmas tree with faux birds of different sizes and colors!! How cute that would have been !!
I loved watching your channel. Even through I do not do much for Christmas, it was beautiful, inspiring and soothing to watch. Thank you for sharing. I’m sure I am 1 of many who enjoyed it.
I grew up with relish dishes and a lazy Susan that my mom would put pickles olives etc on. She almost always put spiced apples on it too. I don’t know if you can even find them now.
Hi. Great video. Loved it. I never saw any of your videos before, but now, I'm a new subscriber! And just a quick note, if you ever get a tablecloth, tea towels, aprons, sheets, etc. with a stain, rub spic and span on the spot and pour some in with your wash soap. After the wash, don't put in the dryer but out on the grass in the sun. Leave all day. The stain will usually come all the way out. Happy Thanksgiving. Looking forward to your other videos!!
Wow 😳. Your local Savers looks more like an antique shop than a thrift store. And definitely bigger. My local one is smaller and doesn't have so much furniture.
Oooh! I live in SC, but I grew up in Sudbury and try to visit every few years. I’ll definitely be checking out Classic Consignments next time I’m there.
I adore District Five. I go frequently and always come out satisfied. The owner is absolutely so talented with her displays and so pleasant and BEAUTIFUL. I only live 20 minutes away 😊. I just found your channel today and have subscribed. I’m a fan. I will check out your store as well🎄♥️
I live in Marlborough, Connecticut. Just found your channel. How delightful. I’m feeling quite stressed since the election and trying to find ways to decompress a bit. Looks like I’ll have to grab my flea marketing buddy and head your way. Thanks for an enjoyable video. Happy Holidays! 💓
You should have got that bright red vase/planter at the beginning. Thats from Smith and Hawken, a high- end gardener's supply catalog that was big in the 90s but unfortunately went out if business with the crash and recession of 2008.
Hi Caitlin, new subscriber here! Thank you for sharing the lovely items you buy and the thrifting for Christmas. There's nothing like those stores in my area unfortunately. I just watched one of your previous videos about your cookbook collection- I am also a collector and I enjoy very much cooking from my vintage cookbooks. Looking forward to receiving notifications from your channel!
Thank you so much for subscribing, and welcome! I LOVE cookbooks...I'll certainly incorporate more of them in future videos as I also love using them for new dishes and inspiration. In the winter I love to read them because it's like a little vacation while it's snowing outside here in New England.
Thanks for sharing Caitlin. I have added these shops to my visit list. As a matter of fact a couple may get bumped yo the top! I am looking for a specific piece of furniture and I think I may have seen it in one of the shops.
Oh that's amazing!! If the furniture is from District V in Sutton just call ahead and ask the owner Jamie. They turn things over pretty quickly and I would be so sad if the piece you were looking for was sold. Good luck!!
I just found you (thanks for popping up) 😘. I love this idea. I love your color palette and theme transition “now that you’re getting older” teehee. I grew up on the Cape so I know what you mean when you say that New England vibe 🤍🤍🤍. Looking forward to binging your videos. Thanks for the insp
Busy cooking for a major birthday, so watching on while boiling and chopping, but I had to laugh hysterically at your description of small butter stamps. At 81, I grew up in WVa and molded butter as a routine. When I married and moved from natural butter to Lands of Lake, YOU will be disappointed at the proposed ease. It was a good chuckle!
I love your collection. I just found you today and subscribed. We have similar taste. I too used Pinterest to plan out my holiday decor this year and thrifted like you did. I can’t find any red transferware in my area (suburb northwest of Chicago). So I’m going to go to antique malls and pay up for them.
Thank you so much for subscribing! Welcome 🥰 it’s so hard to find transferware now with its popularity…I usually find it piece by piece. I don’t know if Facebook marketplace would be a good avenue in your area but I have had some luck with that. Let me know what you find in your antiquing adventures!
@ Thank you. Oh, I look on FBMP every day. But I can be patient. I wanted to mix my plain white ironstone dishes with red and white transferware for Christmas dinner. We have 25 people. I thought it would be pretty to alternate the solid white with the red transferware. But it’s not looking too promising for this year. 🎄🎅✝️🤶❤️
Thank you so much for subscribing and welcome! I'm so glad you're going to give the napkin a try, it's pretty easy and makes holiday hosting so much fun!
Hello from Rhode Island. I love going to Savers here in RI. I have found so many great treasures! New subscriber here. I saw your video on your Maine property. How Wonderful! !!! We recently bought a small place in NH. Love it in Northern New England! Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
Thank you so much for subscribing and welcome!🥰 I will have to pop into the RI ones…my parents live down that way and I’m sure my mom would be up for a day of treasure hunting. So glad you found me!!
Dear Caitlin, I support you 100% in your decision to stop sharing your business on UA-cam. I also went through the same path as yours. At first I shared everything, without understanding why I was doing it, just because I saw other soap makers doing it. Over time, I realized that all those who watch these videos are those who want to open such a business themselves. In my case, I also realized that my knowledge is very valuable, because not many share information about making 100% natural soaps. Also your knowledge how to turn the handmade business into a brand is valuable, I haven't seen one soap maker to share this knowledge . So I started deleting my videos, even though they had thousands of views, I left only the ones that you can't really learn from, and I changed my UA-cam videos style to a marketing style. My views dropped significantly, but I don't care. I see that many soap makers , have gone our way, only they have not announced it. you can just see over time the videos become more and more marketing instead of diys.
I really appreciate your understanding, especially since you’ve lived through something similar. Life (and UA-cam) is a journey and it’s always evolving, I’m happy on this new path and I hope you are as well! 💕
Get a musician friend review the two bags of bell and determine if they would play a full sacale(do re mi fa sol la si do) and if they do keep them in order to be played during Christmas with some children's books/scores. That makes sense to me, but again, I wouldn't know if it does to you.
I agree the prices have gotten a little crazy. I’m sure it depends on the item…but I actually don’t love the quality of a lot of the Home Goods items. I would rather pay for something that isn’t going to break after a few uses or that’s made with better materials. Shopping at Savers is also much better for the environment so I shop there for many other reasons.
Beautiful! Very traditional with warm vibes
I absolutely love that Lenox egg platter! Loved looking at all the beautiful things in those stores. Would love to visit some like that.
I think I want to make the 460 mile trip to Sutton, Ma. Your thrift/antique stores are awesome! Love the bells and your dishes too.
That would be quite the trip! Thank you so much for watching, I'll be sure to share the next time I'm in Sutton in case you can't make the journey!
Just found your channel. Love your array of items but especially the Springerle cookie molds or stamps. This cookie has been a cookie my family has made for over 4 generations . I hope you will enjoy making them and enjoy eating them too.
Oh I love that making Springerle has been such a long lasting tradition for your family, that’s so special. I’m excited to give it a try!!

I feel the pull for nostalgia lately too! Almost 30 so definitely want to recreate the past for Christmas.
It’s just so much more cozy and warm!
That was so fun treasure hunting with you and you found some really amazing things. What fun
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! 🥰

So many beautiful items 😍 I love the idea of shopping with your Pinterest board in mind x
Wow! You hit the hack pot. Love the bow thank you for sharing.
I’m regretting not getting the bow…I probably won’t have any time to make one. Might be a great project for the winter!
That thrift store is head & shoulders above mine!!!
I always have such good luck there so I’m grateful!
I loved to hear how you mentioned and thought of your mom while shopping. I bet she is as fun and creative as you!! 💕
She taught me everything I know about home making, I’m very lucky 🥰
So glad I happened upon your channel. I really enjoyed your video! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
I’m so happy you found me as well!
Thank you for the bow I will use it in a weeks time!!! So easy!!
Commonplace Market , Barre , MA . Stunning new shop , multiple vendors , antiques , vintage and finely crafted art .
New subscriber here! I also collect butter molds! I love how you share where you shop! Thank You!
Welcome!! So happy you found my channel 🥰

So glad you enjoyed! Happy holidays to you as well!

Oh that would have been so adorable!
The cute crystal tray is a relish tray for carrot sticks, celery sticks and olives. Very old school vintage
Oh so good to know, thank you! I'm very excited about using it this holiday.
I loved watching your channel. Even through I do not do much for Christmas, it was beautiful, inspiring and soothing to watch. Thank you for sharing. I’m sure I am 1 of many who enjoyed it.

I love those napkin bows! Will definitely be doing that this holiday season, thank you for sharing!
Happy to share!! Thanks for watching 💕
We have an antique mall like that here in Rochester NY 😍
Wow 😳. Your local Savers looks more like an antique shop than a thrift store. And definitely bigger. My local one is smaller and doesn't have so much furniture.
Love the tablecloth!!!!
I was so excited to find it!
There's also a great Therapy practice in that building! Essential Insights :)
Oh so good to know! It’s such a big building and I didn’t leave enough time that day to fully explore it. Will have to go back!
Loved your Friend shop..Gorgeous
She’s so talented! I’ll have to share it again next year.
I’m a new subscriber, you have a great eye. Thanks for posting your story.
Thank you so much for subscribing and welcome!!
These are so many wonderful finds ☺☺
I feel very happy to have had such good luck! Thanks for watching 🥰
I have a huge butter mould and I love it so much. I wanted it because it was like Ma's in Little House on the Prairie
Oh I love that! If you have any tips on using it let me know!
Oooh! I live in SC, but I grew up in Sudbury and try to visit every few years. I’ll definitely be checking out Classic Consignments next time I’m there.

New sub is! I’ll need to make the drive up from RI to check out your area. ❤
Welcome!! Yes it’s definitely worth the drive. Although RI had some cute shops too!
Hi, I love your colorful labels your product. Which company did you use? If you don't mind, thanks for sharing. I appreciate it

I think it's linked in the description! it's under my business name Solette but that's me!

Haha, I can totally see how you would think that! I don't normally buy that much but I got a little carried away.
@caitlinblue easy to do with antiques or thirsted decor!
The dish is 4 mandolin cookies or cakes with the cakes a bowl of hiolday jam .
But u can. Do the eggs
that large 'pot' with the floral pattern is actually a bathroom trash can
Might be the prettiest trash can I’ve ever seen! Thanks for the info!

I've made those fabric bows for 1/3 of that price
I felt the same way! The price was a little high for me.

Hi! It should be linked in the description box of the video! Let me know if it doesn’t work though.
