4:22 When the Shelby appeared, I was thinking "Man I wish somebody has ruined the back-end of that car with some oversized exhausts". My wish came true.
They are probably to meet noise regulations. Looks like they redirect the air away from the mics. And they have sliencers in them aswell

@@MasterSaunders Something similar happens all the time at Laguna Seca in California, since it's not far from some houses most track days/events there are run under strict noise restrictions. Look up "Laguna Seca pipes" and you'll see all sorts of extra pipes and mufflers sticking out of the back of people's cars to please the microphone that measures the decibels!

At 7:09 you can see the rear right wheel hub snapping loose, and as he proceeds you can see the car wobbling after the corner, and him realising the dept of sh*t, and braking... Ouchy!
I'm kinda amazed that the hub broke in such a scenario, I was expecting something like such a car to be more durable
I think the rear steering broke. It's very delicate and one impact is enough.

I rode my bike on the Nürburgring this year, in the "Rad am Ring" race. the gradients can not be seen on the video at all. "Fuchsröhre" goes down at 100 km/h.
Some nice cars. Seems the BMR drivers were less embarrassing this time round. Hands up for the nightrider, great spin for the crowd

Speaking of bikes on track, the BMW M3 E30 is creating an extremely dangerous situation for the poor rider at 10:40. Passes within inches of the bike. I believe this is a strict no-no during the Touristenfahrten, and wonder if the BMW driver got sanctioned in any way by the track officials.
In total contrast the Ferrari driver at 14:17 (and others following him) is nicely respectful towards the bike rider. The cars seem to be significantly faster under braking and cornering but they slow down, waiting for the bike, making sure to wait until the rider pulls over to the side and is looking at them, before they pass at a safe distance.
That Audi License Plate isn't german. That must be a british License Plate and i dont know if that's a legal plate there.

I don't quite understand. When I did trackdays, understeered off into the infield and tried to get out on the track as fast as possible, I got a black flag for it, but some of these drivers are doing the same and I see no black flag anywhere.
Then again, who am I to know if they actually got black flag from this one camera spot?
They should just have drift days when it's raining a bunch.
