It not a problem. I have a similar system since 2016 and used it on several cars with metal stems and rubber stems without issues. I use this type of a TPMS system on my BMW M3 for track days and to monitor tire pressure live. The car can easily see 140-150MPH at tracks like Road America in Wisconsin, USA, without any issues to the valve stems.

It works well in my car
A major concern is that the added weight will exacerbate cracking of the rubber valve stem due to centrifugal force at high speed. Comments?

Installing a TPMS on overaged and cracked tires. My sense of humor exactly.
All tires were replaced with Hankook last year

There is coin battery (CR1632H) inside the tire sensor, approximately it will last 10 years
