I just replaced the struts on my 88 Cavalier wagon. I removed the springs and used them, along with new spring insulators top and bottom. Got to take it for an alignment this morning.
I have had more than one deer strapped to my old cavalier over the years, good video.
Honestly I don't even know if it does need it
If your coils weren't broken would you have had to compress them to take em off?
Good luck with the overhaul
What a beast!
Hard to beat them ol Cavaliers!
I got a 2004 Chevrolet cavalier paid $600 for it off cousin 2 years ago was in bad shape put new struts new tires front end all new oil change thing runs like a dream
Well the good news is you know how to do the repairs.
I definitely would prefer the little Cavalier to get me around also instead of dumping all that money into that diesel I don't know if you know this but I just changed my struts the other day and they had to put a Casper camber kit on there I took it to get lined up after I done it and they're like oh you didn't put the cash for camber kit on there nobody told me it needed that
Love shocks 🤣
Love the content 😂
Say it ain't so! So there went a few hundred $. And a lot of work depending on how that fancy hunting ride is designed lol. Should have picked up some tire chains, come-along, good rope and a shovel too.
Haha all better than paying $200+ a week in fuel 😂
You should start another channel for mechanics lol
No jack stands?... tisk tisk sir lol be safe goin to Alabama!
I just came to see how many UA-cam pro mechanics are in here to tell him he should have used jackstands🤣😂🤣😂🤣 liked the video bud
