- Within Temptation are this year's Dutch ambassador for Record Store Day. And for this occasion, the exclusive 12-inch EP 'The Artone Sessions' will be made available for free for the first 6000 Record Store Day customers in The Netherlands on April 20, 2024.
'The Artone Sessions' contains of four acoustic tracks that were recorded in the presence of over fifty RSD stores from across The Netherlands on January 29, 2024. This unique performance took place at Artone Studio in Haarlem, located inside of one of the largest vinyl pressing plants in Europe - Record Industry, and have been recorded direct to disc. Record Store Day is celebrated on Saturday, April 20, and takes place in 116 independent record stores in the Netherlands.

In my personal opinion this is always the true test for any group no matter the genre. For fans of Sharon we know how absolutely talented she is but this exposes how amazing and talented she is with her voice to those who are not familiar with her. This really allows us to hear the true talent of the rest of the band members as well

Yes... And ever since I listen to their album "acoustic night at the theater", I have been begging for them to go on a USA/WORLD tour of an unplugged smaller venue intimate setting MODE with three thousand people or less, IN CHAIRS... Exactly.
This acoustic style. It's less expensive for the tour and it is easier on the voice for her.
@@rickrack4812 Yes exactly!! I’d love to see something like that happen. Unfortunately I am terminally ill, so I doubt I’ll see this. But I’ve done similar, begging them to come to Canada haha. Them playing unplugged in a small venue would be a breathtaking experience.

Their frontman Einar Solberg came out with his first solo album.He's easily one of the top 3 male vocalists in every genre save Opera. Check out his solo release 16 and his acoustic performance. Good God Can He Sing! The band used to be pretty heavy but their last two releases are really approachable

Every single new song I hear from this amazing band just makes me love them even more. I really have a soft spot for the acoustic versions of their songs though, Sharon's voice is just so beautiful and angelic, it feels just a little more special to hear her voice shine so much in these versions.
