      Would trying to resprout them make them more bitter as the stems wud then become thicker? Also, could someone simply plant a good portion of these after resprouting into a conventional garden? Im thinking about regeneration and growing for seeds.. As well as any harvest from them.. Thoughts?

      Yes, Charles Dowding plants pea in his garden for salad greens and he harvests the top 3-4 inches. Then they regrow and he comes back and reharvests. I am trying to understand about the possibility of several harvests before I start with microgreens.

    I have watched so many videos on gardening, micro greens etc. and they often leave me somewhat confused on the process. Your videos are amazing! To the point, a perfect amount of detail, and all while you're showing your viewers how it's done. You are doing a great job!!! Please keep making videos, and thanks a ton for sharing your knowledge! By far your videos are better than many of the big players in the industry.

    I love how quick and to the point your videos are. I'm learning so much! You do a great job and are by far my favorite gardening vlogger. One thing I couldn't see was how much water you were putting in the trays on the racks right after you unpacked them from the brick covering. Just fill the bottom tray to cover the bottom, or is there a depth as a rule of thumb, please?

    • @JoshSattinFarming
      @JoshSattinFarming  5 років тому +1

      Thank you. Don't overthink the watering. Just put some water in the bottom tray. If you put in too much you will know because when you lower the top tray it will overflow. I check on the trays every day. If there isn't any water in there then I add some.

How many ounces of microgreens do you put in the bags? 2. What is the going rate in your area? 3. Are you selling to restaurants, farmers markets, or....?

    • @JoshSattinFarming
      @JoshSattinFarming  5 років тому +1

      Everyone's market is different and you will have to figure out what is going on in yours. The better question is to ask yourself how much do you have to make per tray to make it profitable and then see if you can sell it for that much. We deliver weekly boxes to families and sell to chefs.

    Thanks for a great video, brother! The thing about light that is worth evaluating is a light spectrum. It not the amount of light , it's a spectrum of light that is really important. Using LED full spectrum light would be a great idea. You can get them for quite cheap from aliexpress.
