Would trying to resprout them make them more bitter as the stems wud then become thicker? Also, could someone simply plant a good portion of these after resprouting into a conventional garden? Im thinking about regeneration and growing for seeds.. As well as any harvest from them.. Thoughts?
Yes, Charles Dowding plants pea in his garden for salad greens and he harvests the top 3-4 inches. Then they regrow and he comes back and reharvests. I am trying to understand about the possibility of several harvests before I start with microgreens.
I have watched so many videos on gardening, micro greens etc. and they often leave me somewhat confused on the process. Your videos are amazing! To the point, a perfect amount of detail, and all while you're showing your viewers how it's done. You are doing a great job!!! Please keep making videos, and thanks a ton for sharing your knowledge! By far your videos are better than many of the big players in the industry.
Thank you so much for the kind words. It makes me happy to hear that people are finding my videos helpful and that they are learning from them. Thank you for watching!
I think you have the course creator in you mate! Another revenue avenue. Microgreens I’m on the cusp of doing so I gained some cool info. Keep up with the gram, nailing it. Once I go full time my media content will be daily too. Keep up the good work
Thanks for the kind words. I used to be a teacher a few careers ago so I really enjoy explaining, sharing and teaching. At the moment I am just trying to share my knowledge and experience to help out other growers.
Great job! Don't worry about filming on your phone. Great videos so far. You are really good at explaining your process. I appreciate all the details. Thank you!
Honestly I think your vids are perfect right amount of info in a great amount of time but I would watch longer vids also keep up the good work!! Thanks!!
It’s great that you share information about the subject and not about your “pet goldfish or how you like to look at the stars”. You have very deep instructional videos with no extras fluff. You are a natural born instructor. Thank you
I can't criticise your videos at all. You come across very well, your information is clear & concise & you cover all the important information in a timely manner. You're a real breath of fresh air.
This was great, don't worry about the quality. Your demos and explanations are succinct. Great content. You are definitely an engineer. Your set up is so efficient and doable by us wannabes.
Thanks! I spent many years as a professional brewer where layout, efficiency and standard operating procedures were so crucial to running a good brewery.
I love how quick and to the point your videos are. I'm learning so much! You do a great job and are by far my favorite gardening vlogger. One thing I couldn't see was how much water you were putting in the trays on the racks right after you unpacked them from the brick covering. Just fill the bottom tray to cover the bottom, or is there a depth as a rule of thumb, please?
Thank you. Don't overthink the watering. Just put some water in the bottom tray. If you put in too much you will know because when you lower the top tray it will overflow. I check on the trays every day. If there isn't any water in there then I add some.
Thank you so much Sattin your vedeos are coming out great and all we need is the content and learn along with you. I really enjoy all your vedeos and i ta3je some of you teachings and use them in my garden. You are a great teacher and keep the videos coming.
As someone who is interested in trying micro greens in my home in small quantities, I found this very helpful. You’re was straight forward, informative and easy to follow. Be Looks like I will have no problem here in NW Indiana with that tutorial. Best wishes.
I really liked the video, especially the part about awareness about plastic and its damage, I hope we are very close to having new more sustainable options for hygienic packaging big hug!
Right down the road from you in Wake Forest! My wife and I are starting some chicken/garden ventures to see if we like it so loving the videos, keep hustlin'!
This was the first time I have seen any of your videos. I just started a couple weeks ago growing microgreens myself. I thought your video was very helpful, easy to follow lot of great information. It was enjoyable to watch thank you!
I love how speedily you get all your info out😆 love the way you share your knowledge with us. Thank you. I've got some Isas and Golden Comets this year for the first time. Wanted 3 chicks and ended up with 12plus two roosters and selling some eggs. I'm happy. 😄👍❣️
Before I start writing something else I would like to say thank you so very much for the great information to share with you everything is so neat and clean simple the best way it can be great job
That was great. I’m just growing for my wife and I, so I have three 10-20 trays growing all the time but it doesn’t take too much time! I guess you will be scaling back a bit too now that you are done with your farm! We eat broccoli every day, so healthy!!! I love the sunflowers stir fried and pea shoots! I will be watching. Klaus
Thank you, this is great. Just starting to think about this as a small business. I've been gardening indoors for a while and I think I could do this. The main task for me will be to determine my market come up with a business plan. Thanks again for your videos!
Another great video. I have been watching your videos for a few months now and I really enjoy them. Easy to watch and informative. Thank you for making them!
Your videos are longer than the average but it worth to Watch them. It doesn't brother when you are watching good content. Keep going. You just inspired me to start my channel. I have been doing my microgreens long time ago but making many mistakes but just learn a lot from you. I took all the notes and I am ready to put it on practice. Tanks so much. Where I do my first video, can I mentioned you?
I love the content and well organized. I would love a videos on how to find what is the demand in the area. Is it simply chatting to vendors at markets and finding out what people want?
I am just starting my microgreens business and found this video to be filled with great information; thank you! Some questions I still have are: 1. How many ounces of microgreens do you put in the bags? 2. What is the going rate in your area? 3. Are you selling to restaurants, farmers markets, or....?
Everyone's market is different and you will have to figure out what is going on in yours. The better question is to ask yourself how much do you have to make per tray to make it profitable and then see if you can sell it for that much. We deliver weekly boxes to families and sell to chefs.
very informative video, i think you nailed the length for the information packed into it. The only thing i could recommend is adding some time stamps into the description for people wanting to jump between sections.
Thank you for the good information. I'm interested in how you wash the microgreens. I'm a visual learner and it would be nice to see it in action. Someday I hope to grow microgreens, but I don't have the setup yet.
You're welcome. I only wash the sunflower shoots to help remove the hulls and I use the infrastructure in my washing station. One of my first videos was all about my washing station, so please check that out. Thanks for watching!
Great video. Your teaching style is highly efficient. BTW, I have used your "Trellis to Make You Jealous" with good effect for my indeterminate tomatoes for a few years now.
Very informative! I gave my mom a container garden for mothers day and we live in Arizona..so we're growing microgreens instead of lettuce.. P.S. your videos are great.
Also, I really liked the video, it was informative and direct, no fluff. I've been wanting to do something to this effect for a while now, just waiting for the right timing, so for now I'll follow you and keep learning
@@JoshSattinFarming very much actually, I can rarely sit through more than a few minutes (kids stole my attention span) but I watched the entire 15 minutes and hushed the kids!
