Oh WOW Rachel :-D Medina Garden is so BEAUTIFUL, so many incredible and rare plants and palms, and you are looking absolutely stunning too Rachel, thanks so much for sharing your amazing visit to Medina garden with us, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from Belfast to Wexford for a wonderful new week XXXX
Thank you so much, Lyn and Hans. I'm glad you liked the video but I bet I know what bit of the garden was your favourite. Was it the area with the agaves by any chance 😝 Sending you loads of love, Rachel
Absolutely fabulous tropical garden - well planned and well executed. I do wish I could see it in person but I'll have to settle for slow-motion repeat viewing to get my tropical garden fix and helpful ideas. Tropical Gardening here in Florida zone 10 or 9b can be quite difficult therefore good information is always welcome! Inspiring tour - thank you so very much!
They must have a hybrid phoenix canariensis because I never noticed! The hybrids tend to not be as a big, as these are some big boys. We have quite a few of them around me, and you can always tell the hybrids because have slimmer trunks and they do not have as wide of a canopy.
The Phoenix canariensis is shown at the point in the video when I mention it (3:41 in the video). It has a thick trunk. They tend not to grow tall in our climate for some reason - or so I've heard from more than one gardener.
Greetings Rachel , I used to watch your videos and recently returned as I did find them informative . I may have missed a subject which you may have covered . So my question is have you covered propagation Canna lilies . I find them very temperemental and need some help
Welcome back! I have not made a video on propagating callas. I would not consider myself an expert in this and actually only grow three cannas. However, by chance, I will be dividing one of those (an early flowering one that I will chance dividing now) and planting a second one in this Sunday's greenhouse video.
Wow ...what a particular and beautiful garden.A sub tropic garden in Dublin .... incredible! What is the name please of the plant with big leaves at 1.55 min ? Thank you.
@@imneverwrongsometimestruthlies I see. Well, you saw the video where I planted them out in the garden and since then some of them flowered. The are producing fat bulbils as I write. Hope yours are doing well too.

Nice tour arround the garden. Was that a beetroot next to the Geranium Maderense? I thought I was the only one who grew these in the flower beds.
Karl mentioned how he has been experimenting with brightly coloured kale. And why not! Thanks for watching and have a great day!

It is an incredible garden and I'm glad you liked it. That plant is Tetrapanax papyrifer 'Rex'
Dear lady what about the stem Lily bulblets? (Tiger lilies)
What tiger lily bulbils? Did you see some in this garden?
@@GardeningatDouentza no no... you had planted it earlier and since I have done here too so I wanted to see how yours was faring 👍

@@GardeningatDouentza it flowered too?😲 But you said it would take atleast a couple of years to flower
@@imneverwrongsometimestruthlies It did take a couple of years. I sowed them on 29 Aug 2021. They got planted out and bloomed summer 2023.
