International Basketball- Ball Movement (0.5 Concept)

- Fenerbache using ball movement to create and keep advantages. The idea behind 0.5 is that players have half a second to make a decision with the ball. The decisions they can make are shoot it, drive it, or move it. By playing with quick ball movement the defense is continually shifting and moving. Shifting and moving the defense opens up gaps and creates opportunities.
Wow this video makes me realize how REAL basketball is supposed to be played. The NBA has lots of really good players (some of the best in the world), but sadly they are often too selfish and care more about their own personal stats than to play as a team + move the ball around. Great basketball > great players.
@@demarcus612i think it’s more of a coaching and also just organizational problem. NBA players play for certain stats every game because it means more money. Stats on paper look great to front offices and ultimately earns more them more money.
Great players are actually better, they can get the advantage without all the extra movement. That’s the reason most historically great teams don’t need to move the ball this much.
LOVE THIS TYPE OF BASKETBALL!!! Euro players have less/no ego and don't have that superstar pull to play selfish.
The NBA needs to take notes.

I am struggling with my game especially against zone defense. Do 0.5 seconds work in a isolation situation as well before the defense pick back up in their areas? Also how does this apply when trying to score or make decisions off ball screens? I need help! I am a very good player it’s hard to translate in game due to the zones can be annoying.
