Real Deal 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster. This gorgeous rust-free speedster has had a recent tune-up and valve adjustment. The dual Zenith carbs sound phenomenal. This is the perfect piece for a collection, or cars and coffee warrior! This particular model was produced between 1950-1955. It was presented in late 1954 when the sole U.S merchant Max Hoffman prompted the organization that a lower-cost open-top variant would sell well in the American Market. We are open for inspections and have the ability to facilitate worldwide transport.

Should be able to get a half million for a 55. Pop has a 56 356a and has been restored and he was offered 500k for it when it was just finished with the paint and was still on the rack. That was in the early 90's. I know that the collector cars took a hit in the 2008 economic crisis, but the 55 and 56 are the rarer of the speedster next to getting your hands on the initial release of the Porsche continental that lead to a lawsuit by Ford. I know the Peterson museum in LA California has one. They are beautiful cars and black is the best color to really show the curves of the body. Flawless bodywork and a thick coat of diamond black and that car is one sexy ride.
One slight correction the name Speedster didn’t occur until 1955. First released in the fall of 54 to replace the “roadster” the speedster in the 356 line concluded with the Carrera models in 59. So really only 4 years of production 55-59. Nice 55 and really a valuable car as this was the first model year for the States.

First , its POR-SHA. Its not snotty, its the man's name. Not "Porsh".
Second Speedsters were made into the 1960's.
I could go on, but its sooo tacky to fuck up a presentation on a car this expensive.
The made speedsters only to 58' with a few special models in 59'. 59' it was replaced with the 356D, basically a speedster with a taller windshield and rollup windows.
