Who else would dig an audio EP collection of Lemmo's best couch jams from the last couple years? YES, ME!!
We need a link to this! I love Lemmo's jams
It could be called Lemmo’s TeleCasting Couch Jams.. ok that was bad
Wow that Eleanor Rigby rendition! 🔥
I was born in 1951 so that NC and I are the same age. Great to see that guitar making noises that nobody ever even thought about back then. That boy can play.
Hands down, best demo I’ve ever seen! Thanks for giving that ax the respect she deserves!!
Amazing Eleanor Rigby version! Great sounding guitar! That distorted sound is so heavenly.
"It's not second best, but it's better than first best"
I love it Norm!
Wow. what a great sounding guitar and yes, Mr Lemmo certainly had a role in that. Loved the first Led Zeppelin album covers. Outstanding.
Norm is in Super good shape. Wouuhh, it's great to see him like that !
No kidding. Wow, did he (and we) have a really bad scare with his health a year or two ago. Looking good, Norm. All the best.
Always love seeing these vintage instruments getting new life! Thanks to Norm, Michael, and Jen for making my day just a whole lot better. :) And like all us older types, that 70+ year old guitar can still freakin' ROCK.
Incredible version of Elanor Rigby!
Now that`s a demo! Amazing how guitars from the `50`s and `60`sre still all we even need.
What a beauty and what a player! Absolutely amazing.
Heavenly tone and playing ❤
Lemmo is a killer, great playin' ! That Tele, what a gem
Good lord…..Lemmo is one of the greatest players of all time!!!
Whoa. That was some amazing guitar playing.
That jazzy intro was heavenly. Then Michael turns it into a balls to the wall screamer. What a beauty!
You are correct Mr. Lemmo. You've never played a Nocaster on GOTD. Three have been featured in the past, but they all were recent reissues. Brandon did a CS B-bender, Jack Ryan did a CS NOS, and you did a CS in Lake Placid Blue. Nice to see the real thing come through the shop. Sounds great.
Cool that Lemmo has had his hands on a Broadcaster, though. And since you are mentioning other players, Agnesi for sure did a Nocaster on this channel but we are talking many, many years ago.
I would love to be able to play like Lemmo for a day. Beautiful guitar!
LEAPPIN' LEMMO, Way to play Michael, Thanks, great set that one.
😎🎸👍🏽🇺🇸 NORM You look better than I’ve seen you in months
The most essential electric guitar!
Same year as me but in better shape... Thanks Lemmo!
That might be one helluva guitar, but Lemmo is one helluva player too. This sounds just glorious.
Turn it up! Awesome set Michael! Told you it would be alright! I’ll bet it was fun! Awesome video Jen! Thank you!
Lovely cover of E.R.
Damn I could listen to this for hours
It's a gem !
SWEET, lemmo better than entire Beatles
My favourite guitar (I have a 2005 CS Nocaster), though I've never held a real one. I doubt there is anyone on this planet that could more do this Holy Grail guitar justice than Lemmo. That wonderful dark tone took me to 1950s jazz records played on an old gramophone. This man is magical, gifted beyond mere mortals. Much as I love the guitars in these vids, I watch now for the music. Combine Lemmo with a Nocaster, my dream guitar, and it's heaven, like all my Christmases at once. This vid is an absolute joy.
Hell ya! That was fun! Let that Old Soul flow Lemmo!!👏👏👏👍👍
Fantastic! What a great musician 👏 👌 🙌
Incredibile strumento👏👏👏
Awesome demo, I’ve come back a handful of times to hear this man play again
Fantastic guitar work...!!
⚓️ Thanks Jen Mike 😎 NORM !!!
Sweet Eleanor Rigby! Well done
MY GOD why does that guitar sound so good?! It's almost like a different instrument. Incredible.
I agree, it sounds like I'm in some 3D surrounding craziness, but I'm guessing it's really this dude and his crazy skills making it sound that good, but it does sound like he's playing a different instrument. Maybe it is the guitar, I don't know, I've never heard something sound quite like this.
I’m stunned!
Happy to see Norm looking well!
You can sell a thousand guitars with that kind of playing🔥🔥
Eleanor Rigby with a Nocaster on a Super Reverb! Man, you are a genius 😎
Lemo keeps getting better and better just like those sweet old vintage guitars he gets to play in these cool videos!!
Great playing as always Lemo!!
Norm ... and Michael Lemmo ! AND a NoCaster ! Now that's living ~
Leo Fender was and always will be a genius.
love watchin and listening to this youngster play. The guitars are cool, as well!!
Absolutely , the Broadcaster Nocaster first Telecaster is what it is all about!!!...
And the Esquire even before the Broadcaster! Yes, the very first blackguards were called Esquires in one and insanely rare two-pickup versions. Very, very quickly the two pickup model was renamed Broadcaster. But, the Esquire came first as documented by the serious Fender historians like Richard Smith (and others) who have published books.
great sound
Ummmmm I saaay GOT DAYUUUUM!!! Talk about settin’ the mood 👏🏼🙌🏻
Yeah, this one is gonna be big. Lemmo just SMOKIN' it 🔥👍❤
The best thing about having Lemmo as a host is everything ty
my favorite guitar 🎸 💙
Great playing!
4:09 - don't know
5:07 - Eleanor Rigby (The Beatles)
06:50 onwards - don't know
4:09 - Naima, John Coltrane
6:50 - Whole lotta love, Led Zeppelin?
Mr Lemmo you are a genius 🎸
Norm- the most significant feature of the Nocaster is the blend pot, instead of a tone control. This let you blend in any amount of neck pickup when you selected the bridge pickup. Fender did this thru Spring 1952 and it was his best idea- ever. I'm must say, it is a crime to replace original frets with anything other than original sized frets:(
Complete tosh.
Sick grooves!
Nice job Michael. THAT was Incredible !
Great sound and great player who knows how to get the best sound out of this beatuful Tele
Nice guitar playing! On a very cool guitar.
wow! michael nailed it!
Very cool Eleanor Rigby version!
That was great Lemmo!!!
Awesome video! Michael needs to do his guitar collection!
They are making them so damn good now can't tell what's what..
Lemmo you rock dude! Dammm! 🤘🏻🔥
It fills the quota for Tuesday, ladies and gents.
Good to see Norman feeling good! Go keto..no sugar or bread. Lemmo rawks! Swmming in Fender reverb like a champ!
Excellent Eleanor rendition Mike!
I assume the new buyer's initials are J.B.?
Was thinking the same thing not only because I already seen the video with him with it.
It’s Jack Black
Or J.5.
Or V. G.
Yes, Jeff Bezos
Wow, that dark jazz tone.😂🎉😊
Great performance! Doing that guitar proud.
That Eleanor Rigby is too rad.
Awesome!
Wow! Thanks for letting us hear what this guitar sounds like. Great demo! We needed a shot of the pedal board though! What distortion pedal was used?
Wow..... 🎸😎... Sweet stuff
Leo got it right the first time although I enjoy my Strats. Nice playing for sure !! 🙏🎶🎵☕🎸👀❗
Damn 😎outstanding-tasteful playing & what a cool guitar!
beautiful!
greetings from Henryk & Bernd...Germany...Love it...
wow....this is the one...
Great job, you always do them older babies justice like no other!
Groovy historical guitar. Built 2 years before I came down the chute.
lol!
Wow, I'm sure it is 95% the incredible player vs. the guitar, in this case and most any case, but the two combined on that Eleanor Rigby was some hot hot stuff. Wow.
Thank you
so good
Lemmo does it justice..like Nocaster business..Led Zepplin, Jimmy Page iconic sonic riff...love it.All the best to Norm.!!!!
A lot of people aren't aware of this, but the original dark tone settjng on these whether intentional or not, was used by many C&W and Blues bands as an ad hoc BASS GUITAR... using the VERY CHUBBY strings as they did back in the early 50s, they made a very fine bass for many bands that didn't have the ability to amplify a doghouse... this may have been the impetus to make the original P BASS, as the same was true of the Broadcaster. Additionally, these early blondies would also often be played as lap steels, as the pickup was a dead ringer for the early fender lap steels, which were more popular and known than the broadcasters... so surprisingly few people actually strapped these on as guitars back in those days.
Smithsonian ready example, fully functional. Lemmo’s a fine curator.
Lemmo sure does kick ass when he wants too.
Wow….great playing Michael! Love it.
Beatles Number!Nice
Brilliant. Period
That 'dark tone' was just sooooo dusky.🖤
Telecaster my favorite
Amazing tone from both the NC and the Fender SR, but is he running through a pedalboard too?
Damn john 5 moves quick!
Ha! But I think he has his dream lineup of Broadcaster/Nocaster/Tele already.
Elenor rigby. Holy shit that was amazing!
Maybe Fender should bring back the the no caster with original sound and design
The bridge and bridge pickup of this Telecaster (as it's now called) even included a Metal cover to protect them.
Great playing, Mr. Lemmo! I love your version of Eleanor Rigby, and the Zep tunes were, dare I say, better than Jimmy Page. That Nocaster is exactly the same shade of blonde as the ‘50s Tele I had in the ‘70s. I always called it a ‘59, because that was the date on the neck. However, it had a black pickguard, and was set up to be either a toploader or strings-thru-body. I always ran the strings through the body. The saddles were the steel threaded ones, totally rusted out, so I replaced them with brass ones. I always suspected that the neck and bridge were not original to the body, but they were ‘59 parts. The body-who knows? I couldn’t find a body date. I figured it was a ‘59, but then there was that black pickguard, with the paint-can circle on the underside.
