The 2025 BAIC B30e Dune 4x4 is the latest and greatest offering from BAIC, since it offers a new hybrid setup that is a first for the Philippines. In this Filipino car review, we take a tour of the 2025 BAIC B30e Dune 4x4 to see what sets it apart from the usual offerings. The BAIC B30e Dune comes in two variants: a 4x2 trim and this top-spec 4x4 trim. The top-spec BAIC B30e Dune 4x4 gets a gasoline generator and 2 electric motors, which has a combined output of over 400 horsepower! This, plus the full hybrid series parallel drivetrain means that you can get over 1,000 km of range on a single full tank with the BAIC B30e Dune 4x4. This matches the BYD Sealion 6 but the BAIC B30e Dune 4x4 has more power and also has 4 wheel drive. The price should not be far off from the Suzuki Jimny 5 door. This is one of the most promising full hybrid offerings now in the Philippines.

one advantage of the BYD is that it's a PHEV, so hindi masyadong gamit yung engine if nagchacharge ang customer. Other than that, buyers ought to gravitate towards trusted hybrid systems on the market instead of investing in this.

Other than that, unless this is a third car or a weekender, buyers ought to gravitate towards more trusted full hybrid systems on the market instead of investing in this.
This is a good option for people who don't have a garage or wall sockets like condo dwellers.

The BYD Sealion 6 can be driven on both EV mode or Nissan e-Power mode to put it simply. Electric motors are powering the wheels 100% of the time.
For full hybrids Toyotas are the most dependable. For PHEVs though, BYD have mastered the EV-to-ePower system handover the best.
With the price of less than 1.5M and 4x4 hybrid. You can expect a lot of this unit in our streets.
Yes, its really exciting. The 4x4 trim is P1.7M though, but still very competitive.

Kumusta pala ang suspension niya Kuya Reygan sa short time na pag drive mo? Drives like crossover ba or like SUV?
Hard to tell, paikot ikot lang kami sa rotunda and 2 rounds lang. Pero very smooth and quiet so crossover type.
