Loving the new fleet of EVs arriving in the Philippines. The Seres 5 is definitely no exception! Seems spacious for a family, glass overhead, leather trim and wood interior, silent but accelerates nicely. Seems to be a good blend of luxury and comfort. Great review as always, sir KP!
Looking on EV's here in the Philippines Seres 5 is indeed an interesting contender, not just the quality, Porsche inspired look and performance of the car but also it's contribution on cleaner air, no emissions. Ang ganda gamitin pang stroll sir King Panda,siguro kung pwede i modify yung roof niya yung pwedeng open air sir sabay roadtrip sa mga overlooking at beach side. ❤️
Interior and infotainment wise maganda siya for an EV or even compared sa ICE. Siguro nakikita kong off sakanya is yung sunroof niya. Given the weather in the Philippines, you need to have a tint na mataas ang heat rejection for that so additional cost pa. Medyo nakakailang din if may dumi sa sunroof mo while driving. Having no sunshade, removes additional protection din inside like if matyempuhan na malaglagan ng hard object pwede dumerecho agad sa loob. In terms of the range, good range for PH market. Hopefully lang talaga magkaron ng magandang law or benefits for EVs. Like 50% discount sa mga toll to promote EVs. Mandatory EV charging to all gasoline stations kasi ngayon iilan lang mga charging stations especially sa provinces. Need lang din talaga maexplain sa mga car buyers yung benefits ng EV. Yes in terms of initial investment mas mahal ang EV compared sa ICE pero in terms of cost of ownership dun ka makakasave ng malaki. Imagine wala kang change oil, na gagawin. Gulong lang papalitan. Cost of maintenance mo possible umabot lang for 25k during the 10 years warranty. Compared to ICE na habang tumatanda car mo tumataas ang cost of ownership

The user interface of the Seres 5 is outstanding because of HUAWEI, It feels much superior to most other Chinese EVs, and the competes in the upper strata of models.
