Honestly speaking, I have no reason to hate LGBTQ. everyone is a human being and is absolutely inhuman to just judge them based on actions /appearance. I personally have guy friends who like a guy and likewise for the girls. I just have this huge respect to them for just being themselves. It is hard to say that there will still be people who don't approve this but nonetheless, do not give up on the one you love :) Huge support for them :D
U're missing the + community.. agreed that respect is the key and the kind of society that v live in shall no longer b just dad, mom and kids.. equality shall extend beyond gender.. reimagine the future 😀
More ppl like you should exist. You guys gimme hope for humanity.
idiot comment.
your actions define who you are.
@@chiuansheng Wonder what that says about you since you're being mean and narrow-minded

Most people forget about the ➕ part so im glad that they got an asexual person!! #acefam
YESSSSSS
Ace here
Im asexual too
Thing is ace aren't hated much because they can be straight or gay type so there is diversion ... I'm also Ace btw
i have nothing against ace people, they rock, but they simply aren’t inherently lgbt.
"But you were straight"
....
"Yeah and I wasn't able to talk when I was a baby, alot of things change "
“But you were straight”

“Well, there’s a chance I may have faked it...”
“But you were straight”
...
“Yeah, I thought so too...” **nervous laughter**
Love Simon - a movie about a gay teenager coming out : R 21 in Singapore - pg 13 in England, Australia, Canada and the US.
Pink dot - an event that is celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in Singapore : only citizens/ pr and Singaporeans are allowed to go to the event.
I wish Hollywood has given us something else other than Love Simon. That movie was hijacked by an uninvited guest. Half of the movie isn't even about the titular character. Gay relationships aren't being shown, they're told. Only one kiss in the end due to the restrictions of being a PG13 movie. But hey, it's the first gay movie with a happy ending!
Seems even Hollywood is bad at this.
a fucking kids show is rated M18 in Singapore bc the main charators *friends* dads are gay

A suggestion for the next video: Invite religion representatives to talk about the LGBTQ+ topic.
Nope. They just gonna spread their bs. Esp christians n muslims, those abrahamic religions.
Plus, they have no biz to meddle in secular policies.
RonLarhz why not listen to other people’s perspective don’t just look at something one way

RonLarhz ironic thing to say assuming you are advocating for acceptance when you yourself are so quick to judge.

You're actually joking?!! Welp its singapore soo...
So is the movie with benedict cumberbatch playing Alan Turing “The imitation game”
what the fuck
Is it even allowed to air in Malaysia?
That's cos Singapore is majority old-fashioned family & still stuck in ridiculous mind sets
Being Canadian, it's interesting to hear how much progress has yet to be made in certain parts of the world in regards to lgbtq rights. The journey towards equality can be tedious, but advocates like yourselves are making a world of difference.
Can equality include something that brings harm to the human body or society?
how does it do that?
Singapore is backward compared to US when it comes to these kinds of things

They do get it out of carelessness, which is why having sex outside of marriage or with anyone who isnt your spouse is seen as immoral.
Thus, I'm being fair to everyone by being against them doing such things.
It must require so much courage for them to come out and speak up about themselves and who they truly are, despite the potential backlash and the societal discrimination they will have to face given how conservative Asian societies still are in this regard, kudos to them! I'm a straight male, but I truly respect people that take pride in who they are. You don't have to agree with them, but you don't have bash them for being themselves. Equality for all!
Oh man, tearing up over here. I'm Vietnamese, and in 2019, my country has just denied us the privilege of marriage, despite being requested by more than 3 other countries (I think). That day, on social media, I read the comments and so many people Agreed with that decision. The anger and frustration settles in but, nothing we can do about it, can we? We are a minority, our representation is incredibly small. So I think you guys as a collection have voiced opinions of LGBTQ+ people living in an unequal community globally. Thank you for that.
Hang in there. Live your life my bro !

Huyền Lê Việt Nam mình thực ra thái độ vs LGBT thuộc dạng trung bình, kiểu nếu có 200 quốc gia thì chắc mình sẽ ở khoảng hạng 90-100. So vs Đông Nam Á mình vẫn còn sướng chán.
"They're are single parents, gay parents ect... it's not just mom dad and kids! " The trans male hit the nail on the head.
was this inspired by jubilee ? anyway , i still think this is a very good video because it gives some of us more insight into the lgbtq+ community! i myself want to know more them and this video really helped me alot :) these people are so respectful and open to each other’s opinions and this was just so heartwarming to watch
The video was good, but they should've credited the tbh.
ItsmeIsaac agree even tho the inspo was pretty onvious its very similar to the “Spectrum” series without the spectrum

RonLarhz thank u ! i will make sure to watch those :)
As a bisexual i found the tedx talk "the invisible b in the lgbtq community" (or something like this) really accurate and helpful.
Bohemian Rhapsody was rated M18, just due to Freddie Mercury being gay. While in Korea it was PG-13. LMAO

Yesss thank you for another LGBTQIA+ video! 😆 I really appreciate the diversity of the participants and being able to hear a diverse range of opinions. This video really made me so so happy and is such a nice addition to what has been a pretty great Pride month! Thank you to Faith, Kennede, Zinc, Atiq, Irie and Lorraine for sharing your stories! All of you seem so cool and I wanna give you guys hugs! 🙆♀️ Here’s to working towards creating a society more accepting and inclusive of the LGBTQIA+ community! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Thank youuuu Joey for the kind opinions and greatttt support! There's also a very detailed article up on Zula! 🙆🏻♀️
I don't understand why people would hate on LGBTQ+. I really can't get it. I guess I'm the type that thinks that as long as what one is doing doesn't harm anyone and he/she is happy, why not??
Previously I have actually asked my parents about their view on this and even tried convincing them haha but yeah... maybe like some of the comments mentioned, its harder for the older generation to accept or change their views.
As some say the real haters have the same tendency in them selfs and cant accept them selfs for who they are. If you are straight or LGBT+ and accept your self for whom you are you would more see the person and not who he/she shares the bed with
Well there is harm to society and health. The question is, are you willing to accept that they exist?
they care about your mental health, that is why. everything created have their couple with diff sexes. even tree have that.
Conservative and religious societies are the ones stigmatizing LGBTQ people.
im a girl and straight but that lesbian woman was so stunning omg

I honestly love it, really great to see people from my own culture speaking about these issues.
I've always identified myself as ace so i was really interested to here about other asexuals (we really dont get talked about often) and Lorraine's experience with that guy who said "at least you're not lesbian"
Relatable fam
Anxon ikr i must admit i dont rly think abt ace ppl very often (im an ally) and honestly its embarassing that most allies dont either:(
If you don't mind me asking (which if you do, feel free to ignore/downvote), do asexual people pursue romantic relationships or marriage? If yes, is that limited to asexuals, and how would the whole sexual desire thing work if in a relationship with a non-asexual?
@@ozma2985 I dont think im qualified to speak for all coz
I identify as a gay asexual
As said in the video we just don't feel sexual attraction.
Its complicated and I hope I'll be able to get my point across (and you're free to disagree with my opinion) but I hope this answers your question.
For me at least, I like guys. Just like any other gay person. But my attraction comes in forms of looks, physical touch and like romantic feelings. I don't enjoy any kind of sex. I like holding hands, cuddling and just being intimate with my partner, and if he wants to have sex, I am capable of giving him that. But I just won't enjoy it.
@@ozma2985 and thanks for asking! I think its great to know that people are interested to know more! :)
Anxon Can I also ask on asexuals? My perception on Asexuals is that they neither identify as a female or a male, gender is more like a coat and they can change into one or the another depending on their mood. Is this true?
I didn’t know about the other parts so that was pretty interesting!

so much love for this video
good on Zula on creating this much lgbtq content for pride month and showing how the community deals with Everyday life whatsoever 💕 enjoy the content a lot ❤️
This is a _panel discussion_. Those have been around for ages. And panel discussions that are filmed are not something Jubilee created. Jubilee is a very popular platform for filmed panels, but is not the only popular channel. Sure, this video has similar cuts to Jubilee, but that's about it. They're standing in different formation, there's no separation of different opinions on benches or spectrums. It's just a panel of LGBTQ+ people.
Indeed, but the cuts, fonts and editing ,especially the intro is so undeniably similar that I find it hard to believe the style of the video is not at least influenced by Jubilee. There's technically nothing wrong with following a trend in video editing but a too similar style maybe not be very appealing to some .
Love this vid!!!
If the vlogger team see this comment , can u do an vid straight vs lgbtq, what their opinion or tolerance for the community? They willing to fight together?

What exactly is 377A? Here in Europe I've never heard from this.
Nice to see a good variety of ppl from the LGBTQ+ spectrum
This is GREAT! I love that this video in done by Singaporeans about LGBTQA+ Singaporeans. These LGBTQA+ should be so proud of themselves for shine the light on the issues they face individually and as a community. Change will come eventually. We need strong politicians with a spine who are willing to stand up against homophobia, even if it comes from a few religious organizations.
That's idealistic but nope politicians only look out for themselves. Religious organizations too. Noone is sharing their power/doing charity that doesn't benefit themselves.
I think for now LGBTQIA+ Singaporeans just need to be out and spread awareness one person at a time
Love this safe space for LGBTQ+ community to discuss matters close to our hearts! Great Questions!

I lived in spore in the late 80s, we had a semi illegal group called PLU, people like us, it was much hard time at that time. Love you all
Updated edit: The people here who said "Singaporean society generally accepts...." are "straight-passing", or do not fit into the stereotypical look of a lgbt person. Normally, people will assume you are straight. It is different for lgbt people who also don't conform to gender stereotypes. Hence, this video is BS.

Vietnam is much more open but they also don’t know much about other kinds of sexualities (they don’t mind your business). However VNmese people aren’t rude to you like it in somewhere (not everyone, of course but I have only met 1 in my life), the government doesn’t put any pressure on you, at least in my 19 years experience. Especially, online environment is so clean compared to English-speaking online environment and that make me impressed by how civilized the people are. If there is any racist comment it will get backlash from a lot of people (both straight and LGBT+) and now I’m so so happy that when any article about the community shows up there is no racist word at all not kidding. We also have dating show with straight and gay guys to challenge the guests. We have Huong Giang as a judge in The Voice Kids and she is transgender. Movies, MV, series, online dramas, ...Meet no obligation from the authority. Many years ago I watched a talk show about LGBT rights with the gay guest on national TV channel. I can tell my teacher I like boy and jealousy of myself with someone else. I can tell my friends too. Maybe it’s bc I am a good student so I get respect every where and my life isn't hard at all. Yes there are some people with narrowed mind that you can’t prevent but you’ll have other pp protect you from racism. My grandmother said she would love her grandchildren no matter who they are. And this is the thing that I love most about my country - the people with hearts.
I still don't have courage to tell my parents :)
They are so brave to stand in front of the camera! We should show our support for them as regardless of gender or sexual preference, we are all humans and we should embrace everyone!
love the courage of these millenials. Your future is in your hands, fight and take what is rightfully yours.

Even as uncertain they are about either lqbtg+ right in singapore are going forward or not. For me its better than already certain that its not going forward at all , as whats happen in the neighbouring countries ( yall know which im referring to) ...
