Match fixing and collusion lead to absolute disgrace at the World Cup! France and Iran in the final group stage matches did all they could to throw their match short of scoring on themselves. Unfortunately, some bad apples have given a real black eye to the sport of futsal, that even overshadowed initial calls for change at the beginning of the tournament over a lack of care in advertising and advocating for the sport by FIFA. With their controversial bracket positioning, will FIFA address the issues in time before their matches? What do you think should happen to these two disgraceful teams?

I am a futsal enthusiast in the United States. Futsal News was inspired by a lack of coverage in the space from a neutral source. This channel will be a blend of general news, SOME personal opinions, and concepts to get people thinking and talking about moving the sport forward together. Let's go to the Olympics 🎉🎉
Throwing Iran and France out of this tournament would only create more chaos. Let this World Cup come to an end. Afterwards, FIFA announces that Iran and France will be suspended from the next Futsal World Cup. Make the punishment so harsh to put fear into every coach who who ever think about throwing a match. I've never had a problem with a team playing their bench more than starters in a match that doesn't need winning and doesn't effect rankings (NBA famous for this) but you can' throw a match to "game the system".
A great idea! It’s all just a shame that France invested all this money and this is how business is conducted. Momentum gone!
I'm a bit biased tbf but I feel like it's also a bit weird that the ranked 2 and 6 teams in the world fall in the same group, when there's 8 groups in total.
