I have been to both Croatia, and Portugal, after following you and your travels, and you have helped so much, love your trips, always so helpful for the traveller, and so easy
Merry Christmas to you! Thank you both for your wonderful video's that brighten the lives of so many of us.Hope your having a joyful ,restful season, you deserve it.Blessings 🙏🏾🇨🇦
Love love LOVE the fact that you include the prices and the distances and all of these ESSENTIAL informations in your videos ♥ Much love from Montreal CANADA ♥ ♥ ♥
Oh the food in Croatia resembles the food in Tunisia. The cookie which Sam ate looks like our "kaak warka" which is made basically of almands. We also have "chakchouka" which is made of vegetables and eggs. And what Sam called pancakes are actually "crêpes" and they are of Frech origin 😄
lol KnowYourHistory Croatia is more then 92 procent Catholic country, population of Muslim is about 2-3 procent, and more 5-6 procent are other religions.
Toki tokić I think religion has nothing to do with our field of discussion. We are concerned with food and accordingly it's a matter of civilization. It doesn't matter which religion is dominant. What I meant is that the food they ate exist also in Tunisia regardless of influence and origins.
Best travel vlogs on the tube, always enjoy, you guys are so nice, you always pass on the info that's important to the traveller. I shall be visiting Pula in a couple of weeks, and you have helped me no end, keep it up guys, you rock
Oh man, such a gr8 Christmas present - just been waiting forever to get a shot at correcting Audrey's facts......especially since once again Sam was the one having to absorb a stab at his endless knowledge.....now where was I....oh yeah......technically Audrey, you were at the Adriatic, not the Med - AND - half the Med IS in fact known for spicy food, from the Aegean Turkish coast and all the way over to Atlantic Morocco.......doesn't get any spicier than that, Aud - collecting zero points and Sam is back in the lead.....Christmas is such fun.......:-)
6:20,Sorry guys but those are not pancakes or crepes. Those are "Palačinke",(Palachinke). Typical Central European food, you are going to find in Hungary,Austria,Slovenia and Croatia. Those from restaurant are nothing like those that people make home.
Typical Croatian breakfast is not much different than what you eat for breakfast in Canada or U.S.A.. Bacon and eggs and sausage with some tomatoes or green salad.Always bread or buns.We eat lots of bread. Palenta is very common for breakfast. Definitely,we don't eat donuts and American cereal for breakfast, maybe Swiss style muesli cereal. Croats don't go to restaurants for breakfast. You can find breakfast in Hotels only. Yes,most people over there don't like filter cofee!
watched many of your videos but i m beginning to get angry with both of u..... why are you not fat after all the food? hahaha. Thanks for your videos as they will certainly help me in my budget planning for my upcoming visit to the Balkans. Cheers from M'sia.
As a Croatian, I can't stand American pancakes like no joke there always under cooked in America and they have weird toppings I think im going to stick to my palaćinke
Im sure they forgot to bring bread! When u are here in Balkan countries dont hesistate to ask ppl if u thing they forgot to bring bread etc. Also why u dont tell ppl that u are world traveler and that they restaurants will be on yt?They can give u free breakfast, lunches etc..u do promotion of their restaurants.
Never seen breakfasts like that before. Both sure looks delicious. I definitely would love Croatia.
Thanks! We sure needed it to do all of the climbing later on that day.
Both of you describe food so deliciously!

That's really interesting. Croatia has a huge Muslim influence so maybe the same food traveled there.

Rim i only speaking true facts, user KnowYourHistory just wrote a wrong facts so i must correct him,i dont have anything against any religions.
Oh, that is fascinating to hear! What are some lunch and dinner dishes you'd recommend to those trying Tunisian food for the 1st time?
0:35 I feel your pain, Sam. I myself don't like to wait that late to have breakfast.
It can be torture Brady! I'm actually doing some fasting these days so I'm not really having breakfast but sure missing it...lol
My mom was czech, she used to make the same cookies for christmas, main ingredient is ground almonds
Oh, that is cool! Must have been delicious :)
They are delicious, we call them vanilkové rohlíčky, my mum use hazelnuts to make them though..greetings from Prague!:)
8:10 THREE main courses?! It was just between TWO people! (The third was your dessert.)
Hahaha...we brought our appetites!
Shaksuka here in Saudi Arabia is scrambled egg. The egg with tomato Audrey ordered, we called it here la'za.

Hey Samuel, you really need to put an arc on that Slovan brim, after all you are Canadian. Hvar looks like a place I would enjoy.

We were wondering if you still have a home in Canada like your own place with your own furniture, etc? Do you ever get home sick?

Yet more narcissists - drooling over their food and talking with their mouths full. Dull dull. Awful! Yuk!
Exactly what we were going for Edward.
