How to produce like PLUKO | Electronic UK House/Garage Tutorial

  • Pluko is quickly becoming one of my favourite artists right now. His insane sound design techniques mixed with influence from genres such as UK House, Garage and Hip Hop make him one of the most interesting producers to study. I absolutely love his music, but because he makes such an array of genres, it is hard to nail his style down to one video, but I've tried my best to incorporate his sound from his latest album, BLEACH. I cover his granular synthesis approach, as well as his rhythmic design in this Ableton Live session. Hope you guys enjoy!

    I have a question! How do you manage to accurately pitch your granular samples to create a chord progression? If for example your original sample is in Cmaj, do you just pitch it to whatever scale degree you want?

    • @k1xran
      @k1xran  9 місяців тому +1

      hmm it rly depends, usually i don’t pitch them after I print them to audio, because i just search for chords to make progressions within samples when i put them through quanta. I individually record takes of chords, because usually they’re already in the sample. I hope this helps, ahah kinda hard to explain

      @@k1xran ohhh that makes total sense! Yeah I was confused because I was struggling with pitching stuff after granulizing it. But that makes it easier! Also, what kind of samples do you personally like to granulate? Like what usually gives you good results?

    pd: any recommendations on where to find vocal acapellas? i dont own splice yet so wondering if there were any other alternatives

    • @k1xran
      @k1xran  6 місяців тому +1

      thank u! honestly splice might be the way to go, but since I don’t have it either I usually just AI extract vocal tracks from songs and cut and warp them from there :)
