- In this video, we try to explore how "Lateral Thinking" in the field of music can extract some interesting usage of conventional musical instruments.
All instruments can break the barriers of convention, when a genius like R D Burman decides to have some fun.
सरजी आपसे मिलके ऐसा लग रहा है पंचम मिल गये, पंचम दा के बहुत सारे राज खोल कर पंचम फॅन को बहुत सारा सुकून मिल रहा. धन्यवाद.
Awe striking experimentations by Pancham Da, he is simply composer of the millennium...
Will remain a legend forever...he was much ahead of his time....the way he has explored music and instruments no body had done till that level.. miss u Pancham da....
Unfolding the genius of the LORD. We never know when we can decipher his music completely, it is like an ocean, never ending.
💯% ✔️
Impossible is POSSIBLE if there is PANCHAMda. As usual fabulous analysis Maddy ❤❤❤❤ . Waiting for another one on 4th Jan.
For such thinking and creativity to come naturally, music must flow through each cell of one's body... That was R.D. Burman... he could conceive much beyond the conventional. He saw melodies in percussions, percussions in melodies and percussion patterns in breathing. This can only happen if one is truly liberated and un-inhibited in approach. R.D. Burman - The Boss will live on till the universe exists. Thanks a lot Madhav ji for bringing such beautiful thought processes known to RDB's die-hard fans like us!
Pancham da and you, maddy , are the same souls separated by time
With 1942 - A Love Story, Pancham da was chalking out a wholly new direction to his music, breaking new grounds again. One wonders, what he could have done had he lived after this.

In digital western instrumental songs era, he created purposely analog recording with real instruments to get feeling of 1942....A great risk ...but highly successful...

बाहुबली - such a huge canvas like Sholay...MM Kreem is legendary ... No doubt ... But the songs aren't that impressive...
RD would have made the music as well as background music eternal...
असो...

Though this space is for Pancham, I'm very very curious to know about one special sound effect done by Bappi Lahiri in the song Abhi Abhi thi dushmani abhi hai dosti in the movie Zakhmi, where the word Chali re kind of reverberates or echoes.
How was that sound created, will you please explain?
Sir please make one analysis on Baat adhuri Kyun hai from movie Majdoor
Sirji, Sholay ke 2 songs Koi Hassina jab Ruth jati hai aur AA jab Tak hai Jaan per thodi roshni daloge ? Thanks in advance.
Dear Maddy after the tambourine we hear the sound of rhythm is it Pakhwaj or use of Octapad ? Please let me know dear.
And the same chord style of Sitar we hear a clave type instrument throughout what is that instrument. Please do let me know. Regards joy
