I really like the honor battle concept you do throughout your other challenges and playthroughs. Seeing an entire challenge based around it was unexpected, but really cool and really well done! I love how a little inside joke amongst the channel has turned into a full fledged challenge with applicable rules. I also super appreciate the historical references: I can't wait to research more so I can better understand the nicknames you used

I love that you do honor battles in your Nuzlocke, it's part of your unique style.
If you ever wonder why gym leaders in Diamond and Pearl make completely nonsensical moves, the reason is that there is no move selection AI in these games - if any AI trainer decides not to use a potion, it will just select a move at random (there might be a system that prevents consecutive protects, but I'm not 100% sure on that). That's why Fantina's Gengar went for a quad-resisted poison move, for example, rather than taking a guaranteed KO with shadow claw.
Oh NAH, it hit me when you named Meditite Mizuho. Six Samurai is a top 3 archetype for me in Yu-Gi-Oh🤣
I would to see a playthrough of this in Black/White, since N uses Pokemon that are caught near the area you are guaranteed to always have a full-team honor battle with him

Excellent video! If you want more good quotes on Honor from a solid reading, try reading the Hagakure. It is basically the doctrines to which the samurai held themselves to. Know the bow before the sword.
A while back PaPaSea did a run where viewers sent Pokemon for him to use in Pokémon Sword. I'm hoping he eventually does the same thing for SV. I had a lot of fun with those streams and the final video.

Whenever i play any Pokémon i want to make the important battles fair, use the amount of Pokémon and potions as the important trainers and do set battle style, so i guess i play Pokémon the honorable way too 😅😁😁

Whenever I hear honor used a lot I think of Dante Bosco cosplaying as Zuko in that one Nostalgia Critic video just repeatedly saying HONOR

You should do this but instead of a nuzlocke you go at it normally ( aside from the rare candy or pokemon you might need to hack in ) and fight every key trainers like gym leaders, elite four ( yes you would need to white out after every single elite 4 until you then use the champion's team to beat all 4 and the champion ) and champion with their team, only caveat would be that your ace (which also would be theirs) should be at the same level as theirs. So basically use the same team as the 1st gym leader until you beat them and then use the 2nd gym leaders team from then on until you beat them, rinse and repeat until you beat the game. If you wanted to do a nuzlocke, you could apply the death rule to each team until you switch team and repeat.
I'm all for Pokemon nicknamed after my favorite Yugioh archetype, Six Samurai! Bonus points for the Six Samurai archetype lore revolving around honor.

I know its not a huge deal, but it feels like this concept was only half executed
Like if its an honor battle nuzlocke, shouldnt you lose if you don't win any honor battles against your opponent?
If he hadnt taken damage on volcner, I think resetting till an honor battle was done would have been okay, so missing that one kind of feels off
And also, the elite 4 and champion are the most important battles, so to avoid them feels the most dishonorable
Again, I know its not a huge deal but this is youtube, not his own causal playthrough off screen. If he is claiming a style I feel like he should stick to it :/
