I agree! Stay tuned for more videos like this and how to videos! I will also be doing a checklist, recommended supplies, and set up and break down camp video soon!
Can you please take a class A gas motorhome on a test drive and have someone film what it looks like behind you, please? We want to see about sway and how things look and sound.
This is great. The biggest difference between motorhomes and tow behind RV’s is the driving experience. And it can vary so much between the different types. More of these would be great! I’d love to see one of a Thor Omni/Magnitude.
Love the comfort drive feature. It will definitely be in my next rig. Also that suit must be twice as thick as my Canyon Star. 40' would just fit in my RV Port.. LOL. Not yet Jim, not yet..
Cool video, kind of a nice change from the review videos. Can I ask you what RV do you own and what RV manufacturer do you think is the best in the business? That rig sure looked like it had plenty of power for the highways and if you ever needed to pass another vehicle. Stay safe my friend. ❤❤❤Cheers!!!
Hello Frank, I own two RVs... I have a 2021 Midwest Automotive Design Passage SD 144 wheel base Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van and a 2021 Forest River Salemn FSX 179DBK travel trailer that I tow behind the Van... Abby, Rosie and I stay in the Van and the kids in the camper! I’ve had 7 RVs in the last 4 years 😂 I think their are several manufacturers that are in a class of their own... Newmar, Tiffin, Renegade, Midwest Automotive Design, Grand Design, Air Stream and I’m sure there are others that I’m not as familiar with... You can see and feel the difference! Stay safe as well my friend! Cheers! ❤️🇺🇸❤️
Well... comfort drive is a power steering assist designed to combat driver fatigue... independent front suspension is designed to take away a bump on one side from transferring across the front axle... both make for a great ride but I would say you could compare them as they serve different functions. The Freightliner can can independent front suspension also and then you can have both!
On the older models like 2019’s they have a dial on the dash which is quick and easy. Do You find that the new ones are easier to navigate on the steering column due to the drop down menu finds on the road.
The dial had 6 settings and sure was convenient but this is pretty easy to find and has ten settings. It’s the digital era... they didn’t want an old system with the new LCD glass display. 🤷🏻♂️
As nice a feature as the comfort drive is, Freightliner should have placed it as conveniently and easily accessible as it is on the Spartan Chassic and located it as a dail on the dash imo. Either way the Vantana is a great looking MH.
Really like these test drives, good job Jimmy , a lot of time can be spent behind the wheel depending on your travel style and plans . Not just lounging and relaxing in the house :) How does the ride and road noise compare to the Renegade 36VSB or 40 VBH you tested 6 months ago ? ( Your opinion matters )
Thank you! The diesel pusher is definitely the better ride... full air ride and a rear engine are amazing! I am a huge fan of the Super C though... the safety and serviceability simply cannot be beat! Both are great choices for different reasons! I could go in for days! Lol
Hum good pointer on how to shift the trans.
Yessir! I was taught by a viewer and felt like it was good to pass along! Hope you are well my friend!
@@RVConcierge yes I’m good getting ready to go to Alabama after thanksgiving to ride Barber Motorsports track. Loving our NEWMAR
Nice change of pace taking a ride.
Thanks

Nice!
So very nice!
👍👍
👌🏼
Great video. Nice to get a feel how the Newmar diesel pushers drive.
Best ride and with comfort drive no one is close.
That is one serious driver seat. Thick! Impressive driver controls/dash. Looks like a very cool coach to drive. Thanks.
Love driving the Newmars!
Great video! These feature specific videos are really informative and helpful. Thanks for taking time to produce these.
Thank you! I really enjoy making these videos and I will continue making similar ones! Thanks for watching and contributing! -Jim
Is Comfort Drive unique to Newmar or is this a feature on other Freightliner chassis diesel pushers?
Newell, American Coach and Newmar are the only ones with this technology!
A very quiet ride. Impressive.
Love how quiet diesel pushers are!

I do not currently have any Class A gas in stock but as soon as I get one I will make a video!
@@RVConcierge YOU ROCK!
Wow, nice. Does your chair really have a foot of cushion for the back? Or, does it just look that way?
I don’t know if it’s a foot but it’s petty think and comfy!
Certainly a nice perk on the Newmar DP’s. Hope all is well!
All is well! Hope you both are well also!

Thank you Eric. We are currently out of stock on the Magnitude but I can do one as soon as we get one!
Awesome ride though, it felt like we were there with you in the ride along.
I will do more! I think it’s important to see and hear... RVers spend lots of time behind the wheel!

Comfort Drink be is a game changer. I’ll be ready when you both are! ❤️

how would you rate the Freightliner comfort drive verses the spartan k2 independent front suspension?
