Having a home you own and can rely on not matter what happens allows you to try new things and take chances, a mortgage has the opposite effect. We dont have Luton van bodies in Australia like this so I had to build my own but I think these are one of the best platforms possible to build on. A much more practical size for full time living than a van body while still being fairly easy to park and drive. Even when I inherit an apartment I will keep living in my truck right up until I am physically unable to. The less you need, the more you have.

I'm watching this video,, of this lady's life and van.. I think,, she's connected, to her van , her environment, her dog, but her self!!!! I love the lay out. I also run a little business, but I tow a trailer..its not easy..separating the two.but god were lucky. My life is so rich the places I see, the people I meet. Well done. 😊

The algorithm only threw you my way recently, so I’ve seen probably six or seven of your videos. I am American and live in America again for now. I happen to actually live in a camper, but it’s like 240 square feet, not like a van at all. I follow the American tiny home videos quite a bit. That is probably one reason that my husband and I decided to retire in a camper, we realized how much less it would cost and so far that has been very true. I have noticed that the British vans tend to have a look that’s more like a gypsy caravan than a van or camper. I wonder what causes this difference in aesthetic. So far the ones I have seen have been less bright inside, and contain a good deal more wood. In the American ones if there is wood, it’s often painted. Just fascinating to see the difference anyway.
