Wow congrats for pushing through! This must've been exhausting!! Your video just popped up in my recommendations and i've enjoyed it very much and now i wanna try doing a puzzle again so thank you for that! :)
I would have loved to build this puzzle! I agree that the reason Karen’s was further along because hers was just radiant colors while yours had patterns. Good job for finishing it!
I so admire you for trying with this puzzle! When I first saw it I was like ‘Uhhh this might not be a good puzzle for that challenge because of the frames’ lol I felt so valid when you mentioned that too 😂
I tried this method with the Ravensburger Art Nouveaux Disney Princess puzzle. It was a fun one if you ever want to try again. :). It’s so satisfying seeing it come together. Nice work pushing through on this one though, that’s a lot of purple.
I didn’t find it to be too bad. If I wasn’t sure where they went I would put them to the side just outside the puzzle and then after each 100, I went back to see if I could place any. On a lot of the gold pieces there are small details to give you a clue on which princess it goes with. I never had a large pile of unknowns. I also took my time with only doing 100 pieces + clean up in each sitting
Would I have finished this one?? Probably not! Reminds me of some mystery puzzles I tried a few decades ago and how frustrating it was. Murky images, sepia tones everywhere! AAAUGH!!! Finally let myself give up , but not before I spent some time doubting my sanity and wondering if my vision was giving out. As a Follow up, I attempted a jungle set puzzle with white streaks of light throughout that mostly made the puzzle a headache. Finally wised up and found some smaller, more vibrant puzzles with larger pieces, such a relief. Just wanted to add a few words of encouragement and admiration for your tenacity. Well done!! I’m glad to have learned about this method, but I’m not sure I want to try it.
@@annalockwood3021 definitely sounds like you were having a hard time 😅 I’m glad you found some different puzzles that were more fun to do! I think this method could be fun just on a different kind of puzzle lol. Thank you and thank you for watching! 🩵🩵
I haven't seen this assembly method before- I may try it on a puzzel that I have previously completed! I have just bought a puzzle on ebay with no box, that could be another condidate!
I definitely think you should give it a try! I'm gonna give it another try, just on a different kind of puzzle😂 And a puzzle with no box?? Does it come with any sort of poster or is the image a complete mystery?
Oh i love the idea of that challenge :D i was watching karens video too but i simply have the issue that i have a young cat in my house XD until he calmes down a little, i am not allowed to do a challenge like this :D A cup would be mysteriously dissapear XD I like the idea of "Puzzie buddies" sounds cute ngl :)
I have several puzzles from this series, and while I love the artwork and the idea of this series, they are a pain to put together. The shadows are so hard. And with some all the borders of the paintings look alike. Gaston and Mother Gothel were okay (in my memory) but Captain Hook gave me serious trouble.
I've wanted to try this puzzle cause I like Yzma. I did do the Horned God Villainous puzzle (black cauldron) and that is extremely dark that I had to shine a light!
@@PuzzlesWithBri If you try Horned God, bring a magnifying glass. Those subtle details geez. Thanks for the tip on Yzma! I'm excited to try and do the 10 cup challenge, too :)
Oh no!! That is NOT a good puzzle for that style… the Villainous puzzles are really dark puzzles. I have to finish the rest of the borders last on them. I’m so sorry they are fun puzzles but definitely a certain style.
I realize that now lol. I have one other Villianous puzzle; I think that one won't be as bad. I definitely won't be doing any sort of extra challenge with it! 😅
Well done for getting there in the end. Not, I'm afraid, the best puzzle to do using this method. It's basically the pick and place method 100 pieces at a time. If you decide to do the 100 pieces at a time in the future, no doubt you will pick a much more colourful puzzle. An interesting learning curve for you.
I did the Robin Hood Villain's puzzle and it's sooo dark! It's almost impossible to see details in a lot of the puzzle. I had to focus on the lighter parts and then just use process of elimination to get the frames and the left, dark side together. At one point, I thought I wanted them all, but not anymore. Such poor design choices! Good job finishing! I know I was tempted not to finish mine and only my love for the movie kept me going.
That is hard puzzle to do but maybe if you would have not done it with all the pieces the way you did for example when you couldn’t figure first 100 or even 2nd or 3rd 100 you could have put them back into the cups approximately into there cups do the puzzle again but this time maybe do the frame parts first

That puzzle does seem like it’d be better suited for this method 😅 Was it tricky with all of the gold though? And thank you! 😊

You inspired me to try this challenge. Though i for sure would've tried a different image. Good job pushing through
Thank you! And let me know how it goes when you give it a try 😄
@PuzzlesWithBri it was fun! I did Delicious Donuts Daily by Kodak Premium Puzzles. It took me a couple of days though.
Well done Bri! 🥳🎉 This was a very interesting video, I was hooked from the start! 😄 Thank you for sharing! ❤

When you said Puzzy Buddies it sounds like a bad word to me! 🤪
Oh no 🤣😂
It sounded that way to me too 😅
Yeah id probably just say puzzle buddies
That puzzle would be very hard for me doing it the normal way!
It was so tricky!
I also bought a Disney Villians puzzle one year for my birthday. It is 2000 pieces and remains unfinished 5 years later. I feel your pain!! 😂
Oh no! 😂 Hopefully you'll be able to finish it one day 😅

Dang, Karen did this challenge on easy mode compared to this. 😮 Great work.
Thanks!

Villainous is a Ravensburger board game line. The “statue” is the player piece from the game. Just fyi. Great job on the challenge!

@@PuzzlesWithBri good call, so far the funnest most bright one I’ve done of the frames style villainous has been the queen of hearts one.

I wonder why they made so many of this series so dark!?
@@PuzzlesWithBri Right?! Just because it's villains themed, doesn't mean that the image has to be so dark!
I have done this puzzle I love it but not for this challenge, this collection is very dark yet fun I’m doing the full collection done 7 puzzle so far
Definitely not for this challenge 😅 Which one is your favorite of the villianous puzzles so far?
@@PuzzlesWithBri lady Tremaine was by far my favorite
@@nmajors2911 oh this is my first time seeing that one. It for sure looks a lot brighter and more fun than some of the other ones
@@PuzzlesWithBriyes it’s super fun and a nice break from the picture frames 😂
I wanted this puzzle bc i like the collage style but i dont have great lighting at times so i may pass it (esp bc its expensive on Amazon 😅)
Yeah it may be better to skip this one 😅 But if you’re interested, there are other Villainous puzzles that aren’t as dark
Next time try a 100 piece puzzle 😂

Fair enough 😅
