- This is a series where I play as a lone bandit trying to rise to the top in Mount and Blade: Bannerlord
The goal in this playthrough is to climb from the bottom to the top in the criminal underworld of Calradia, starting as a recruit and working my way up to becoming the BANDIT KING!

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a strategy action role-playing video game developed and published by TaleWorlds Entertainment. It is a prequel to Mount & Blade: Warband, a stand-alone expansion for the 2008 game Mount & Blade. Bannerlord takes place 210 years before its predecessor, with a setting inspired by the historical Migration Period.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a strategy/action role-playing game. The fundamental gameplay premise is the same as previous entries in the series: the player builds up a party of soldiers and performs quests on an overhead campaign map, with battles being played out on battlefields that allow the player to personally engage in combat alongside their troops. - Ігри

Koifish always was a bandit. He stole my heart long ago.
There's a real satisfaction that comes with these early game looter adventures- everything, even something as small as a saddle, feels like an accomplishment.

I prefer the early levels myself. Once a character becomes comfortable, I'm bored with it. Bought this game a month ago and I'm on my fifth character.
@@glyph68 same here I’m on my 4th 😂 ended up keeping one campaign character that I’ve leveled up my sister to be a badass so I want to die and play as her. Dying is hard asf tho
I would love to see Koiboi play Expeditions: Viking one day either normally or roleplaying like he is here but for now the bannerlord stuff is awesome, thank you for giving me my fix

I literally just was playing it. In my playthrough, I'm at the Cult of Romulus and found out I need to be a jarl of Orkeyar or something to get the most out of the quest. It's such a good game

Can't wait to see Tristan and Randon team up in the next Bannerlord film! They have so much in common, yet are so different. Clearly the writers of this understand how to craft foreshadowing.

Didn’t he mention it i. the previous series where he was running the same modpack? I don’t remember the names of the mods, but I think most of them consits of the mods from Simo’s soldier series at least

Bruh, holy shit, that intro awakened something in me.
Imagine your modern Assassin's Creed, only much more driven by emotion from the protagonist and morally confusing, now add the effects of aging certain amounts of time per mission, and it plays out kind of like Sifu but with better saving and checkpoints. You actually get to live the life of an assassin of the Creed and are much more oriented to the open world that lies before you in an open world rpg.

Got a subscriber my dude...the commentary was funny as helll
this should be the real thing in bannerlord. also they should add stealth missions, for example sabotage besieged castle in night with only 20 elite people. The game kinda forces you to have big armies and be a vassal. I just want to be a mercenary with elite group of 20 people and do stuff :D there isn't really a lot for this style of playthrough

Bannerlord is such a strange game for me to judge. I like it a lot, but I see so much unrealized potential in it. My steam review for this game says something like "it's alright, but mark my words, one day it will be great."
So many elements of the game (dynasties, crime, clans, smithing, and the new fief improvement system, to name a few) feel like proofs of concept, and pretty damn cool ones. Nonetheless, they're a little shallow, and I believe some day when this game is stable (less frequent updates in particular) the mods will be able to use these systems as tools for some fantastic stuff.
I love it. Sure it can be better, but I don't see that as a big negative, just room for the devs to further improve what's already tons of fun. I never modded Warband and I don't think I'll mod this one. They don't need it.
@@plebisMaximus I agree, but I'm concerned that the devs will never flesh the game out enough. It's been update after update after update of just bug and crash fixes, rarely with anything new. I like the fixes too, don't get me wrong, I've just seen countless games that go through development hell, and end up releasing the game once it's totally stable rather than totally feature-complete. I'm hoping that doesn't happen with Bannerlord.
@@Zebo12345678 They've been working on it for a decade, it's not like they're hurrying to finish it. The fixes are absolutely necessary and should take priority, but once the game's stable, I'm certain they'll add more big features, that's exactly what they've been doing since release.
