It really is nice, I think the biggest downside to joes channel for a long time was periods of drought in between angry reviews. Some of the 'filler' content might not be for everybody, but it doesn't have to be. I think joe has done a good job keeping a universal theme to all his content in that it still feels like the AngryJoeShow as opposed to something completely separate. This is one of my largest gripes for larger channels where one show maybe really nice and draw you in, but the other content offerings don't appeal to me at all. The fact that Angry Joe brought up "Shadow" is enough for me to subscribe for life. He comes off as this ADHD host that only likes superheroes and explosions, so for him to pick Shadow is beyond anything I've ever seen him talk about. Even the other two were like Who are you and what have you done to AJ? Well done, AJ, well done.
Just saw the Lighthouse on Amazon! It was an amazing thriler/horror. Reminded me a lot of Silent Hill (the games) and things like that. Both Willem and Robert should have been nominated for their work in the film. Complete shame they weren't
Actually Parasite had me more anxiety and on the edge of seat feeling than Uncut gems! In Parasite I had to actually stop and freakin breathe for a while cuz it was so insane
Honestly I think parasite was a bit overrated and there were better films for the best picture. Don't get me wrong its amazing and full of surprises, I loved the beginning and it made sense why it was called "Parasite" and the surprising yet built up ending were 3, well technically 4 die if you count the old maid, 1 on the run, 1 severely injured. But I feel the whole second act or middle of the movie was really slow, a common problem in movies. The whole basement sequence was stretched out a bit too much. I agree with where AngryJoe put it.
Golden State Warriors If Parasite is overrated, then maybe it’s just balancing things out since people are so late in recognizing Korean film. South Korea has been producing some of the best movies in the world for years now and it’s about time they got some mainstream recognition.
Shockingly I got it paused on that frame in my first attempt. Its Angry Joe's shirt/jacket super close up to the camera with an empty chair behind him. Looks be just a mistakenly added little bit. Or may be it was a challenge to see who could pause it on that frame lol
You should have the top 15 times in the description as a spoiler so to speak for the video so that if we're afraid of spoilers to specific movies we haven't watched, we can check the times before watching to skip over parts that we don't want to be spoiled of. This would be a perfect addition, same thing with all the other top 15's.
For me John Wick 3 is sadly already a steep decline from part 1 and 2. I still haven't seen some of the movies you listed but mostly agree with all the rest.
SentiBM I thought both part 2 and 3 were both disappointing and average. I liked the first one, but still thought it was a bit overhyped. The John Wick films have cool fight scenes, but I just could never get into the story.
This is pretty cool, because movies are a medium one can enjoy in a short time, and the multiple lists bring a expanded range of genres to the table. Probably your most interesting list so far. More of this please!
Joker is an alternate take on the villain, of course. But I still think they nailed the whole anarchy aspect of him, the failed comedian thing, the mindset that he has. He's just not a traditional villain or a mastermind, which to be fair are important to the Joker's character.
christain diaz I liked that movie, but there were a lot of great to good films last year, so it definitely wouldn’t make my top 15 either, but still worth seeing.
#10. The Farewell #9. Jojo Rabbit #8. Knives Out #7. Toy Story 4 #6. The Lighthouse #5. Joker #4. Marriage Story #3. 1917 #2. Parasite #1. Avengers Endgame
I hated how Endgame treated Thor. What was the point of his whole storyline with Odin and Asgard? He assumed leadership over the Asgardians, but falls into depression and eventually gives it up for no reason other than to raise Valkyrie to more importance. It’s a complete betrayal of his character arc and makes me not interested in the character anymore.
I still dont get how drastically different infinity war and endgame were when it came to general tone and attitude. So many unnecessary jokes and straight up reused scenes in endgame
Hi Joe the reason why peter Jackson did a WW1 movie was because of Tolkien he served in the war and the lord of the rings is inspired by his experiences during the war.

Uncut gems came out 2020 gotta rename the video
23:51 did anyone else see that or am I losing my mind and being disconnected with society
Shockingly I got it paused on that frame in my first attempt. Its Angry Joe's shirt/jacket super close up to the camera with an empty chair behind him. Looks be just a mistakenly added little bit. Or may be it was a challenge to see who could pause it on that frame lol
@@Darkruler16 If you are on a pc you can just pause and use the , and . buttons to go frame by frame.
@@antelasic1950 lol nope I was on my phone

You haven't aged a bit since i started watching you, Joe(2011) 🔥
He sure has
He got fatter 🙃
But I DID GET FATTER! 👍
AngryJoeShow lol
Meanwhile me: has Godzilla KOTM on my list.
David Trofimov That’s on my worst list, I don’t understand why people like that movie.
@@HugoSoup57 badass monsters and they weren't hidden in smoke with only 5 minutes of screentime.
A lot of the films from last year don't even feel like they're that recent.
This is pretty cool, because movies are a medium one can enjoy in a short time, and the multiple lists bring a expanded range of genres to the table.
Probably your most interesting list so far. More of this please!
So proud and honestly surprised that AJ put Marriage Story and The Lighthouse has his number 2. They were definitely favorites of mine too.
The Irishman is the best of 2019 without a doubt, 1917 is a good second.
Cenot4ph I have Parasite as my #1, Marriage Story #2, and The Irishman #3, all fantastic movies.
Angry Joe Haters be like:
Where's Alita Battle Angel Joe?
That belongs on the Mediocre movies of 2019. Technically a nice feat, but story wise meh. Plus the bullshit ending.
@Tom The Fish I watched both and enjoyed both; Alita more because, I was unfamiliar with the source material.
@Brian Cook The story was not objectively good. The "I'll give you my heart scene" was sooooo cringe!!!
Oh come on that was a great movie!
@Tom The Fish GTFO, Alita is a mucher better movie than captain marvel.
C'mon everybody knows "The VelociPastor" is the Number #1 movie
Been a hell of a year when I keep thinking "shit that wasn't from 2018?" still not realizing it's 2020 now
Joker is an alternate take on the villain, of course. But I still think they nailed the whole anarchy aspect of him, the failed comedian thing, the mindset that he has. He's just not a traditional villain or a mastermind, which to be fair are important to the Joker's character.
Never have i seen a Dragon Ball film in any top movie lists, this is just awesome!
I know I was really surprised too. Love me some Dragon Ball!
Legend says if your this early you get a Badass Seal of Approval
Aight
Aight
DragonballZ broly came out in like 94. Dragonball Super: Broly came out last year
In the Description, can you add the list in text format so we may try and easily look up the movies?
Loved hearing all three lists. Definitely keep this up. You guys rock!
Joker was amazing but End Game was special. It was one of those moments in life.... like the moon landing was to boomers.
Damn, no love for "fighting with my family"
christain diaz I liked that movie, but there were a lot of great to good films last year, so it definitely wouldn’t make my top 15 either, but still worth seeing.
I saw it on Pornhub
HundredthHalo 25L damn bro same
Joe: I'm grading DBZ on a curve
Me: That's a helluva curve 😂😂😂
#10. The Farewell
#9. Jojo Rabbit
#8. Knives Out
#7. Toy Story 4
#6. The Lighthouse
#5. Joker
#4. Marriage Story
#3. 1917
#2. Parasite
You could see a message of Thor passing the torch and completing his arc from a greedy asshole to a true leader and hero of Asgard
Even though he's not the leader anymorw
HEY JOE, their are a group of people on twitter trying to sabotage the sonic movie you need to assemble the angry army now!
didn't work cause it's at a solid 70% on RT right now lol
Sonic is for kids who cares
Just because Sonic's character design got fixed, it doesn't mean the movie is good.
It's probably not that good. Come on the plot looks dumb. I just commend the creators for trying to make Sonic look better.
HermitYT don’t care if it’s not that good as my kids will enjoy it
The Super Broly Movie was so damn good and yet I still forgot it came out last year
You have Dafoe as an avatar pic but dont mention Lighthouse???
Technically it’s a 2018 movie
Leon thepro I still haven’t seen it yet sadly
Hi Joe the reason why peter Jackson did a WW1 movie was because of Tolkien he served in the war and the lord of the rings is inspired by his experiences during the war.
jeremy kivinen also his grandfather (great grandfather?) was in ww1. He talks about it in the documentary on him making the movie.
jeremy kivinen so basically battlefield 1😤🤷🏻♂️🤔
Don't you mean Sam Mendes?
@@mantalot987 He's talking about the #4 movie on the list, not 1917
@@nicholaswilks580 yeah that was my mistake, I didn't get to that part of the video yet hehe thanks for the clarification tho
Boy that transition with the smoke and stuff in Shazam! when he jumps off the roof is one of the most aesthetically pleasing things I have ever seen in my life. I also really liked the movie because I'm a huge Levi fan.
Great list joe keep them coming
Alright here's my top 10 list
1 - 10: Cats
Oh did I forget to mention this was my worst list.
They shall not grow old was amazing, so glad to see it on this list!
Jeez, ever since his sponsors took that FAT Check away he's been a complete workaholic
I doubt it was that Fat honestly. Joes too much of a wildcard for a serious investment for some Corp.

I'd put 1917 ahead of Parasite
@@uncle7215 Nah, Parasite is the greatest. 1917 is just in the 2nd spot.
Didn't "They Shall Not Grow Old" come out in 2018? I distinctly recall watching it around Christmas that year when it came out because it was limited release.
Spoiler alert: the best movie is Suicide Squad
LMFAO. Literally
Wait! Was Le Mans really called 'Ford vs. Ferrari' in the U.S. :D Terrible name :D
You should research German movie names sometime. Winter soldier was called (I kid you not) The Return of the First Avenger... They didn't even have the excuse of having translated it into german. 😑

It's weird I was never the biggest fan of Dragonball but the movie actually was really good I went to see if I could get into Dragonball and .....
It didn't get me into it but the movie was cool.
If you want to get into Dragonball, watch "Dragonball." DBZ is a bunch of junk food, which is cool but not always what you want out of it
Anthony Cancellieri agreed you need to have the character building of DB since Z is like all fighting and just becoming badass lol
Each to his own. Just like how I hated End Game while the entire world is praising it.
I thought it was meh and bit of a lord of Rings ripoff at the end
End Game is trash. In fact, all of these comic book films are, except for DBS Broly and The Joker. Wtf is wrong with people
12227UserName Lmao an anime lover doesnt get the right to disrespect comic book movies
12227UserName you’re opinion is trash
Jon D hey man, he just throws around opinions without any form of argument to back them up 💀
I really dug Midsommar last year, feel like it was underrated.
It is one of the worse movies of all times. The Lighthouse was better
1. Parasite
2. John Wick 3
3. End Game
4. Once Up... Hollywood
5. Hobbs n Shaw
Great lists... Jojo Rabbit would have been my top movie of last year as well. The plot idea sounds so weird but it's SUCH A GOOD FILM. That being said, i'm going to go back to stalking your channel main page for the Sonic review. lol 👀
love this tops!!! but dont forget to show at least the "cover art" of the movie in the middle ♥ hope to see more "top 15"!

I'm watching this before bed but I'm too tired to see it to the end so il just assume Charlie's Angels comes in at number one..............

@@ascissordollynamedgwen9409 i agree that just how he is but i dont think people can change, if he keeps trying to stop himself all the time he is just going to be uncomfortable and not enjoy what he does.
Can't wait for the Worst 15 (?) Movies 2019 list! Personal entertainment value between a 'South Korean dark-comedy/thriller film' plot, vs action-packed anime? For AJ, that was tough enough to zero in the *why?* factor? Now that's refreshing, and saying it as it feels!
Good reviews! I just wish i could actually see the scenes you're talking about in the background... unless it's a copyright problem 😭
"You can't take your eyes off the screen when watching Parasite" yeah it has sub-titles.
