The Clinton family has surfaced from its Martha's Vineyard seclusion by taking a boat ride with renowned American broadcaster Walter Cronkite.
The family has been all but invisible in recent days as it goes through what the White House is describing as a healing process.
It has been a little more than a week since President Clinton admitted to the country that he indeed had an affair with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
But on Tuesday the Clintons emerged as a family, taking famed U-S newsman Walter Cronkite up on his offer for a jaunt on his massive sailboat.
They had been out of sight since the president rejoined his wife Hillary and daughter Chelsea on Friday.
The president was spotted at a store where he met with locals and tourists.
But he has remained silent about personal matters since his confession to the American people that he had an affair with Monica Lewinsky.
