- Hey everyone this is my stage 1+ plus 2016 WRX. I have a big SF intake with a cob tune on it as well as muffler deletes and a resonator delete. I didn’t know the road and this is my first year in a manual car so I didn’t want to go crazy on this road. It was a fun little weekend cruise through Julian and I hope you enjoy.

Damn it sounds like you have a downpipe to it. But not bad on the sound with just the muffler and resonator delete. I have a Subaru WRX with the Invidia N1 exhaust and the Tomie ULE Header. And I'm going to delete the resonator from the Invidia to get a better louder sound to it.

Honestly cruising in 6th gear isn’t bad at all.
@@EagerEntertainment I'm going from stock to a probable muffler delete.. hoping its tame enough that the family doesn't complain lol
@@itsDarrell yeah muffler delete will be fine. Keep the resonator delete might be too much but it’s always an option. You can also do 4 inch mufflers instead of a full delete.
@@EagerEntertainment fast forward and I kinda want to delete the resonator but I don't want it to sound tinny.. thoughts? how is drone compared to just muffler delete?
@@itsDarrell drone isn’t bad at all. I would recommend keeping your resonator in case you want it welded back in. Without the players in my opinion, it always sounds a little tinny in order for it to have a more Basey tone. You generally want a Muffler of some sorts.

Only issue with UEL is I lose the benefits of my twin scroll turbo. I do agree the rumble does sound good but for performance it’s not as good

Not in this video no. In my newest one I do. This was the stock jpipe just a muffler and resonator delete

@@jordon3406 honestly I don’t remember that well. I have a new exhaust setup now. It gains a bit of volume without the res maybe a 3 or a 4 I guess. And the drone isn’t awful. As long as you cruise below 80 in 6th gear it should be fine
@@EagerEntertainment Is this the “secondary cat” (big block close to cat) delete or a whole mid new mid pipe.
@@AngelPanama-mw2bk with this video it’s a resonator delete and a muffler delete. So in between your mufflers and cats you have a resonator. They just cut mine out and welded a pipe there. I now have the mishimoto high flow jpipe and a dna motoring catback exhaust

@@Noah_WRX I love it! It gets scolding hot when sitting in the sun of course. But I also have a billetworks short throw shifter and the Perrin shift stop and bushing. So overall it’s perfect for me. I want to try something taller with maybe a bit less weight but with this one it’s at the perfect height. You can also adjust the height a bit on it too.
