Obrigado! I have been a Brazilian expat since my parents brought me to Canada when I was less than 2 years old. Recently I inherited a condo in Rio, and I have had to pay expenses. For this I need a bank account, and that meant getting my CPF, but still more information is required! 😢 I wonder if you know how to do that? E eu queria acrescentar que seu inglês é excelente! Obrigado novamente pelo vídeo informativo. 🙂
@@thebrazilianexpat4041 - Obrigado. Actually, I was able to open an account with my valid Brazilian passport and my CPF. The only tricky part was providing a Brazilian telephone number, and I was able to use a service that provided me with a virtual Rio phone number that has calls forwarded to my Canadian cellular number.
Thank you for the useful information
This was so valuable, thank you.
You’re welcome!

Hi, you need to obtain a permanent residency to open up a bank account. This is explained in another video on my channel 😊

Does it still work this way? Going to the post office and pay a fee?
Some people say that you need to show a receipt from an electricity bill. From the house where you stay
A l'ambassade du bresil de votre pays ,une demande en ligne pour le CPF est validee😉👌
Hi, does it means if you get CPF , now you need to pay taxes in Brazil ???
No, only if you have earned more than R$28.559,70 in Brazil during the last fiscal year.
