@@unicornopiahe mentioned that the big company that buys them will just buy out the 50 cent a filter, that’s definitely the goal, I just wonder how much that’ll end up being

Also I'm not sure if the first filter he broke off was simply full of dirt or actually filled with carbon(probably just better when its filled with carbon rather than just the sheet)
Every three months or when you start having trouble seeing through the filter when held up to sunlight. I agree, this probably wouldn’t prompt people to change the filter
I actually think this is a good deal. The royalty is only paid when the product sells. If the Emerson deal is done, that lost $0.50 per unit won’t be significant. Plus, he retains the 5%. Royalty deals aren’t terrible, if the shark bags you the $10m or more contract. Both parties are motivated to make it work. If production costs drop, then the royalty is also less significant.
Of course they do. Only the 1% of the 1% live like Bruce Wayne and have butlers do everything. Most rich people are ordinary and do quick chores themselves.
I feel like these entrepeneurs should take a negotiating class beforehand or something. He couldve negotiated Kevin's royalty offer to have some sort of cap on it. Instead of being perpetual, make it cap at 3 million or so. Makes it a lot easier to sell to a bigger company when theres a cap to a royalty deal.

Here is a bigger problem with this idea.
