Its a well known fact. I have worked in kindergartens and made food for the kids and they ate food the parents could never get them to eat, but in social (positive) groups, they will eat almost anything 🤣😅

For 22 years I hated spinach since childhood as my mother made it a certain way and even I cooked the same way , learning from her , one day I ate my roomies cooking of spinach and it was so yummy , I wondered why it's not the recipe for entire world ? 😆

Eating a limited set of foods ends you up in nutritional imbalances. My mother even if I cried made me eat all veggies , she would say eat or starve .... she was more soft for my younger brother and let him eat only veggies he likes. Guess who ended up having health issues ? Her favorite child still cannot get himself to eat those foods and I got to eating all veggies and even liking them once I grew up. He's battling with health issues because he only eats what pleases his tongue . Summary ...don't spoil your kids with limited sets of foods. Make them eat a variety of healthy foods. Childhood is meant to give directions to the positive path even if it's hard. I thank my mother for not choosing me as her favorite child and spoiling me . 😆
Omg it reminds of the time my dad made onion soup and made us eat it I was in tears crying into my soup, it was supposed to be like Knorr onion soup. It tasted nothing like it. Hahaha

This would have never happened when I was their age. If I did this at the dinner table with my Mom & Dad I would have been sent to bed and remained hungry until breakfast. However I feel for them. I remember not liking creamed spinach and stewed tomatoes but when I looked across the table at my Father I ate it anyway because I knew if I didn’t it wouldn’t work out well for me. I knew I didn’t want my Dad mad at me and I also soon discovered that if I hurt my Mom’s feelings it would make things even worse.
