- Cultural commentators on both the left and the right have termed the last few years the “transgender moment.” Though I do not think that needs much in the way of an explanation, the issue of transgenderism is now impacting Christian families and ministries in the areas of education, discipleship, outreach, and even evangelism. Given that development, how can we love our neighbors well while still speaking the truth on this important topic? Well, let’s start with a story.
Heather Skriba is a follower of Jesus; and, in this conversation, she shares about her childhood, gender dysphoria, transition, her experiences with the church, and the beautiful truth that changed her life.

What a blessing this video was. Thank you to Heather for sharing her story and thank you for this platform. I was so shocked and humbled by the churches that Jesus sent to Heather to make her feel welcome. It made me understand a little deeper why God calls all types of people and creates Christians with different backgrounds. That was what Heather needed. I grew up in a conservative church that I know would not have been as understanding as the church that Heather attended but God saw that was what I needed. Neither is the wrong church. They are just not right for everybody. God in his wisdom will send you to the right one for you. Praise God for his wisdom.
Thanks for your comment. We are also grateful Heather took the time to share her story with us. As you mention, she noted that some churches hold to a stricter standard on membership and service in ministry. And her challenge was well received: if so, how are you going to intentionally minister to individuals that approach the church with similar questions?
Anyone that rejects or deletes the messages sent from the messenger of Malachi also chooses to reject Jesus Christ himself and they will not make it to heaven. These messages are going to reach absolutely everyone in the world at some point and everyone will have a choice to make.
Now, it's not your fault you were taught lies all of your life but you need to make a public apology, and do a video telling everyone the truth or you will be held accountable for the lies you have taught.
