Something consisten in bootlegs it's overall the body paint looks shiny!
Ya they have been getting real close but the paint does always seems to be more shiny. It seems they are starting to get better at the paint tho

Maybe only differents in production runs.. Neca make many reproduction runs... A customer of my shop said he got a fake one from me, but thats not possible, because we recive everything from our distributor which got the figures directly from Neca

Now I’m really confused. Both my Roy and Jason 6 that you are coining as fakes I received from a company that’s an authorized dealer of Neca. How can they be bootlegs?
With the newer figures coming out they have been very close in comparison. I want to do fake vs real video but they have been very hard to do because they are so close to the real that they are hardly no differences. I know they make the fakes through the companies I've purchased from but they've been amazing in comparison smh

I'm curious if these are cheaper? Or are they being passed off as real for full price?
You can find them cheaper and expensive. They are start to sell them at the same price because people dont know or they make them a little cheaper. But yes you can get them cheaper to like the exclusives are definitely cheaper. Like the MAFEX figures are around 100 and the fakes are like 10 to 20 smh

It depends on where the company is selling from. If it's coming straight from china it is a fake 9/10. Always buy from the US if you can.
So pretty much if u don't have an official figure u really can't tell the fakes apart
Depends on the figure. There are some tells in some of the boxes. Some of the fakes you can see by the shadowing on the back of the box or for like the jason cover the bottom of his mask the holes are darkened out because the box was printed darker. The newer fakes have been pretty on point with how close they are getting.

Amazon figures are sometime fake to. It depends on if it's from china. You have to look at the company but neca has a amazon account they sell through too.

@@garfield8972 dont know the company but read the reviews. There are several reviews saying they received bootlegs. I've never bought from them so cant say 100%
