I honestly LOVE Part V - Jason is still very much apart of that story and Roy's look is awesome. It was a good change of pace and a good lead in for Part VI! Hope to get get this figured real soon!

They could release part 4 tj with a extra head that’s shaven come with a razor and a puppet that he made also a machete
I agree. You could have so many great victims and great displays. I'd love to have a Mark Jarvis display with the machete to the face before he goes down the flight if stairs in the rain or of course... the Jimmy from Friday the 13th : the Final Chapter kill display. You can almost here Jimmy say "Ted, hey, Ted, where the hell's the corkscrew?!" as Jason jams him with the corkscrew through the hand then the meat clever to the face.

@@lexxier1 they didn't lose the license, they were told by the rights holders to hold off on making any more figures after Retro Pamela until the lawsuit ends. They have the license until 2021.

@@NickelConsumer Shelley would likely sell, he's one of the more popular victims. I agree Vic wouldn't move at all though but he wasn't even a Jason victim.

I recently got Friday the 13th jason from part 3 and i have Roy burns love them both
I was debating between those two and I’m leaning more towards Roy, mainly because of the double jointed elbows... the 3D looks awesome tho I’m torn
I love this figure. It's just so hard to think it's going to be one of the last thanks to all those stupid lawsuits. My one and only gripe here is that he doesn't come with the almighty Pig Splitter (Junior Hubbard's death). One of the biggest reasons I was so excited about the announcement that this figure was coming was because of my hope for the inclusion of that freakishly large cleaver. I would honestly have traded the railroad spike and the standard size cleaver for it (Part 4 Jason already comes with a standard size cleaver). Also, unfortunately, we got the wrong shears here. They were supposed to be short-bladed with extended handles, but beggars can't be choosers, and I love this set just the same.
Excellent final thoughts. Great pose. SOLD!!! can't wait!

Great review! Been waiting for this one. My Roy finally arrived on Friday The 13th and I was super pumped! I love the figure and have him with the garden shears pointed downward as my display. Also, I do actually have my Part 4 Jason displayed with the corkscrew! 🤣🤣🤣

I believe that it would be even cooler if neca made the version of Roy Burns, as it appears at the end of the movie where he has the wound on the belly/stomach and the hand too... I believe it's cooler and even more creepy. I believe the reason they didn't make the hand wounded one it's because in that part of his hand ,where in the movie was the wound, is the finger joined and it would be very revealing for how the figure without the coveralls would be....
But it would be pretty pretty good...
I personally have the figure and I truly adore it... it is like the best NECA Jason Voorhees figure out there...
The strange thing is that both Roy Burns and Friday the 13th part 5 daily take a lot of hate and that's because Jason is not in the movie... That is pretty unreasonable for saying because in the first original Friday the 13th movie Jason is not in it and we can only see him through Pamelas dream sequence/memories but still this movie is iconic and original even without Jason...
So all of you who hate Friday the 13th and new beginning for this reason back off....
Honestly loved this figure! I feel like getting him was bitter sweet tho, him being the final Ultimate for Friday due to the rights issue :(

Well, now that that seems to be over, they recently gave us part 7 Jason.
I really like that you use a nice dark background, it helps us see the figure, and extra pieces very well, great job. I would like them to make the young child Jason from the first film (maybe with the boat & a victim) and his mother with that ugly turtleneck sweater on, i think it would make this series more complete. Great video, i really like your reviews. Bob.G

I am now a proud owner of this awesome Friday the 13th figure. Part 5 and 7 are my all time favorites.
Roy used the Cleaver to killed that Crazy Guy in the Motorcycle, the Crazy guy mom, and Jake. Then he killed Robin and Violet with a Machete
@9:38; Ethel, Jr and Jake are the ones who get offed with the cleaver, Violet gets a machete to the gut.

My only disappointment with the figure is that they left the mask on him whilst in the box. As a collector I don't open my figures so I'll never be able to look at Roy's face

Glad they finally gave Roy Burns some love. Also, like you F13 5 is one of my favs of the franchise too. I love that we got a Jason impostor for that movie. My only real complaint with that movie was how the MPAA forced alot of cuts on the gore. Roy was a bad boy!

One more correction, Roy used the cleaver on Junior and Mama Hubbard and on Jake. Violet gets the machete which still has Robin's blood on it.
All we need now is an ultimate for part 8.
Finally someone who really like this movie some people think im crazy for really liking this one but its not my all-time favorite friday movies that one goes to friday part 3 but part 5 is my second favorite

Roys boiler color difference is because he where’s 2 separate boilers in the movie

Imma buy two of these guy eventually and take the normal H2 ultimate myers mask and put it onto a body of one of the roy jasons
Technically, garrotes (pronounced "gah-rot", not "garret") don't strangle, or, at least, don't JUST strangle. You use a wire rather than a strap, and the wire, as it tightens, cuts into flesh, tissue, vessels and I've heard of spies decapitating enemies with garrotes.
It was a favorite method of killing by the Inquisition once they tortured confessions out of their "suspects."

Nice figure and nice accessories side note there was a hedge trimmer or hedge cheers. Death before this movie in the movie The Burning. They whore the Killers weapon of choice and it had a death like Tina's in that movie. But they did it first because The Burning came out the same time as Friday the 13th part 2.

The reason that Roy doesn’t look the same at the end is because it was actually a completely different actor.
Fun fact in the end of the movie it wasn't the actor that played Roy when he died the actor had to leave before filming that scene so they had made a Roy mask
