Hi, Thank you for your question. PME earthing is not permitted for caravans. This is in the electricity safety, quality and continuity regulations and section 708 in BS7671. Regards James
@@JamesCurnowElectricalEngineer appoligies yes I know , and most caravan motor home uses but an adaptor to plug there 25m orange lead to the vehicle..using an external pen fault device would be better than the 25m lead.

principle should be for a metallic exposed part connected to the installation.
And RCD at 30mAl provides required protection.
