Hello there! My husband and I always look forward to your videos! We have come from farming backgrounds but not farmers now. We especially appreciate the times you include a scripture verse at the end . Without God, where would we be? We are both born again Christians and love to see others of like mind. May God bless you and your family with good health, God’s peace and abundant life!
No other industry would allow you to climb that silo without fall protection! I know you boys have been doing it for 10 generations, but there is a reason why farming is among the most dangerous occupations in America! Don't get complacent! Always think about what could happen, not what has or has not happened. Those cows need you, but your family needs you even more! Great videos. Keep up the good work and SLAM A DEW for me. ;-)
Your diligence and work ethic are incredible. Keep up the amazing work and thanks for taking the time to document it! You've really helped me see where my dairy comes from.
Great job guys. I'm a retired dairy farmer who utilized upright silos. My big silos were only 40 high and I was scared to death every time I had to climb them. I love your videos but watching you guys climb those silos almost triggered a panic attack. LOL God bless your family.
I hope your family is very proud of you. It’s has been more than 60 years since I worked on my uncles farm The advances in technology are very impressive and your explanations are both enlightening and enjoyable.
great video as always. I miss filling silo, but I don't miss climbing silo. it is cool seeing you and your dad work side by side. you are a good hard working person
You have fast become my favorite. Thank you for being an example of a hard working man! And thank you for your courage to show your faith. It is rare, but OH so needed!
Very interesting to see the inner workings of your farm. I too didn't know how silos worked, and your comments, for example, about moisture content, and venting gases, and even seeing the two sets of ladders up to the top, just shows how complex silos and silo storage is. The best view in your vid was from the top of that silo, of all the surrounding farmland and farm bldgs and silos. You've got a big operation. Work safely. Nice verse.
One thing I never could do was climb the outside of the silo. It made my stomach flop just watching you stand in the crow's nest giving us a good arial view. Thanks for the videos.
Love how this video ended, a simple Bible verse is all it takes sometimes to get people thinking about their lives, you should keep that up as well! Keep up the great work!!
I think your doing an awesome job of showing people how much work and expense goes into milk production and farming in general. Most people don't understand all that is involved in farming. Great work, i sure your father is very proud.
I grew up on a cattle farm and left for the Army for 25 years. I don't have a farm, but I get my fix through you, keep it up, I really enjoy watching your stuff...
Love the verses at the end of the video I can still remember the sound of the silo unloader and spending time with my grandfather and uncle as they would feed the cows. Great video
Always becareful in those silos I had a couple of friends almost lose their life in one. I always enjoy your videos thank you for sharing God Bless you and your family.
Love watching your videos. I am in Maryland and actually ate at the Windmill Family Restaurant a few weeks ago. Horse carts everywhere. Even saw a horse parking stall in a shopping center. Beautiful country. Man, you and your family work hard. Mountain Dew needs to give you money for the endorsement!! Glad we don't have smellivision!! Never knew how silos worked. I now know my way around a farm. Being a city boy I thought farming was easy. No way Jose!! Thanks!
Keep it up Brother, From a 9th generation dairy farmer raising the tenth. We just completed filling our three 70ft concrete stave silos today. I know your struggles in your daily walk. God blessed us, Phillip Schwarz Gower, Missouri SchwarzWies Farms.
Fascinating! I had anxiety the whole time u were up there. I was worried u’d be crushed by the corn or fall down the ladder. That’s just my fear of heights tho. Can’t believe how high that is!
As a kid I used to walk behind a flatbed pulled by horses. We would pick up and toss the corn that we previously broke off the stalks on the flatbed. I like how you harvest better.
Not real sure how all that works, but another you tube told me once that it helps them just as much when you do the dislike as it does when you do the like.
I really like you because in the 21st century there are not many young adults like you that love farming and you posting videos about the job you love it's the most beautiful thing you can do. God is with you
What's cool is everyone's seen a silo but not how one works and you show that so we'll. By the way your cutting and loading contractor team is most effective and has very nice equipment!
The one thing that I have noticed from your videos is that farming is way more complicated, and dangerous, than working in the fields. Keeping things running and in good working order and somewhat neat and clean, takes a lot of back breaking chores. Be safe out there.
Very good tutorial on the workings of an upright concrete silo ! Just getting the name of structure across is pretty difficult , you are doing an excellent job of explaining and showing how it works ! Being young enough to run up and down there like it's just upstairs is refreshing ,ah back in the day , oh well time to quit dreaming!l Glad you guys are still putting them to good use , don't owe you anything I'm sure so why not! My son has beef cows and he and his father-in-law still fill three very similar to yours! Channel is really taking off thanks to your hard work , you're on your way now ,been here since you started and knew if you stayed at it you'd succeed !
I love the passages at the end. Thank you for all of your hard work. I would be afraid to climb into a silo without something tied around my waist. I'm in Nebraska and my wife's family are farmers. Not as big as you, but I have heard so much about people sinking into the grain of corn. God bless and be safe.
Living best life mate ! Fun fact: I'm from CA, came for business to visit our Wilkes Barre warehouse and on a way to Downingtown was driving by a bunch of farms and wondered how those silos actually work. Thx for showing - and you're from PA! (Looking for farm land to buy around Downingtown - Chester Spring). Great life mate!
I too would love if you had a Q & A video. Even though you explain everything really well, I have lots of questions. For example: have you ever had other breeds of milk cows? Your channel is really growing! Love your wholesome values too.
Love your videos. Not a farmer and not planning to be one but your videos are very interesting to watch. You’re a hard working young man. Your parents raised you right. Love the verse at the end. :)
Whoa, the amount of work you do is insane. Up when its dark off to bed when its dark and doesnt seem like a minute of downtime between. Would love to see video on all the different equipment you and the fam uses. Keep the videos coming!! Great farming and video/commentary work!
Enjoyed the video. Great video footage of how to fill and unload a silo. I've always wondered how an unloader works. That was really interesting seeing it operate while you were up there. Y'all take care and God bless.
You know I knew I felt kinship toward you, and you go and do? Put a salvation scripture up at end of vid...Glory to our God on high! AMEN! I loved your whole vid, interesting for sure..thanks for taking me along..God bless
Just noticed that you carried the pitch fork up with you maybe it be better to tie rope to end and pull up.. and this is the 2nd time I’ve watched this video and enjoy all of them keep up the good work you and your family does and keep feeding America....Eric....
10th Generation Dairyman I have some friends from Alan town that use “yet” for every thing🤣it’s got to be a PA thing!! We will be racing in Redding in a few weeks . Let me know if you want to come out. I’ll get you guys free tickets
I have seen a billion silos in my life, and I never would've imagined how they work. Thanks for that!
I was interested in that too.

Every time I pass a silo when Im on the road Im always wondering how they work. Now I know! Thanks for the video!

I love your videos so much and I am a big Christian so that just made my day at the end of the video! God Bless!
Your diligence and work ethic are incredible. Keep up the amazing work and thanks for taking the time to document it! You've really helped me see where my dairy comes from.
I am so glad to watch your channel, so thankful that you are not ashamed of your faith.
My son’s storybook has silos and he’s been asking about how it works. He loves this video! Thanks a lot!!
Great job guys. I'm a retired dairy farmer who utilized upright silos. My big silos were only 40 high and I was scared to death every time I had to climb them. I love your videos but watching you guys climb those silos almost triggered a panic attack. LOL God bless your family.
I enjoy seeing you work closely with your father. There is no greater joy for a man. Fantastic video young man.
I hope your family is very proud of you. It’s has been more than 60 years since I worked on my uncles farm The advances in technology are very impressive and your explanations are both enlightening and enjoyable.

Your a good man, Eric without your help Dad would be lost...God Bless
Nice compliment to his Dad, how do you know he'd be lost?
Thank you Dairyman for very nice story from your truly live. Your show gave me joy. Thanks and God bless you and your family. Andrew
Great ending. I like that you ended with one of the most profound passages. Great video.
You are great! Backbone of America. Thank you for doing what you do and documenting it on UA-cam for all to see and appreciate!
Me encanta lo que haces . besos desde Argentina 😘
Yes that was a perfect ending
I think your doing an awesome job of showing people how much work and expense goes into milk production and farming in general. Most people don't understand all that is involved in farming. Great work, i sure your father is very proud.

You came all the way up here to eat at the windmill restaurant?? Oh my.
It was a veteran reunion but the food was great and the scenery was beautiful!
Keep it up Brother,

I love that you end some of your videos with a verse from the Scriptures.
My son was asking about how corn gets into silos after learning about farms in preschool. Your video was so helpful! Thank you 😊
Keep up the good work. Glory to Jesus. Lord bless your family.
Fascinating! I had anxiety the whole time u were up there. I was worried u’d be crushed by the corn or fall down the ladder. That’s just my fear of heights tho. Can’t believe how high that is!
Your parents must be really proud of you. I was a kid growing up on a Daily farm in the sixties. I miss it all.
Taking a break from work just to watch this. Love getting these notifications. Keep it up.
Hello to you once again,, you are a ULTRA GUY,, BEAUTIFULL VIDEO,,, TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF,, PLEASE LOOK AFTER YOUR DOGS,,, FROM AUSTRALIA,,
Very cool video. Always wondered how those unloaders worked. Excellent statement of faith at the end.
As a kid I used to walk behind a flatbed pulled by horses. We would pick up and toss the corn that we previously broke off the stalks on the flatbed. I like how you harvest better.
Hey man, this content is great. Keep it up. It’s very interesting to see how we get our milk. Through all that hard work. Making farming cool.
Thank You for showing the inside set-up of the bin. Much appreciated.
Whoever disliked this video needs a swift punch in the eye. This guy works harder than most of us and he is teaching us. Be respectful
Hmmmm I was thinking boot and other end
Not real sure how all that works, but another you tube told me once that it helps them just as much when you do the dislike as it does when you do the like.
Farming has changed a lot in last 50 years since I helped out but one thing is still the same....chores!
Sun to sun, a farmer's work is never done. Especially dairy farmers.
@@cojones8518 oh its not sun to sun, not even sun up to sun down. I'm sure he'll be working in the dark by now and continue to do so well into April.
I really like you because in the 21st century there are not many young adults like you that love farming and you posting videos about the job you love it's the most beautiful thing you can do. God is with you
Good scripture at the end. I prayed for you and your family this morning.
I do remember the days of filling silo well. I WAS the silo unloader.Great times great memories. I love the very ending of this video. Great job
Amen! Thank you for your hard work and my four gallons of milk a week and not counting the cheese that I eat.
What's cool is everyone's seen a silo but not how one works and you show that so we'll. By the way your cutting and loading contractor team is most effective and has very nice equipment!
Scripture is a great touch too. Blessings upon you all...
Enjoyed this continued video!
And the verse from Roman's. Thank you!
Farming Simulator 19 on Ps4 brought me here. Man y'all work hard and much respect. That game is fun and interesting.
The one thing that I have noticed from your videos is that farming is way more complicated, and dangerous, than working in the fields. Keeping things running and in good working order and somewhat neat and clean, takes a lot of back breaking chores. Be safe out there.

Amen to the scripture verse at the end! Good video too!
So interesting and fun to watch. Your monotone narration is a welcome relief from so many UA-cam channels. Great job!
This is one impressive young man. He does everything by hand yet we know he got other employees.
I too would love if you had a Q & A video. Even though you explain everything really well, I have lots of questions. For example: have you ever had other breeds of milk cows? Your channel is really growing! Love your wholesome values too.
Nice view from the silo.
I love the Bible verse. Please continue
Love your videos. Not a farmer and not planning to be one but your videos are very interesting to watch. You’re a hard working young man. Your parents raised you right. Love the verse at the end. :)
You should install some blink cameras inside the silos so you can save yourself a climb or two. Love your content Eric. You're a star
Thank you for the two parted video that was very awesome. You are lucky to have a family that you work together with most today don't have that
That's a cool power unit that they have running that blower
Yeah that thing's a beast

This channel is amazing
When you work on a farm you know what an honest day's work is. Learned on my uncle's dairy farm and it always stuck with me.
I love that bible verse you put at the end of the video. ❤️
Thanks for sharing the good message there at the end!
Everyone else expected a Mountain Dew instead of that corn cob? 😂
Andrei Juan yupp

I have been around farms and silos for years, but I learned alot from watching this video. Great job
Thanks
Was curious how in the world silos worked. Great video. Only worked with rice bins. LOTTA leveling when you dry in the bins.
I take a shot of Mountain Dew every time you say "Yet"
Never really thought about how much I say that yet
10th Generation Dairyman I’ve never heard anyone say that in the context you do (I live in jersey)
Bobby Grady yeah me neither
We love when Eric says yet! Lol we hope for it in every video
10th Generation Dairyman I have some friends from Alan town that use “yet” for every thing🤣it’s got to be a PA thing!! We will be racing in Redding in a few weeks . Let me know if you want to come out. I’ll get you guys free tickets
Thank you for the great Video and including the Bible verse at the end! Awesome!

Its interesting to see silos being used! We have had one on our property my entire life but I have never actually seen it in use! Cool Stuff!
You can see all the areas where farmers could get hurt with all the equipment. Love your videos Eric, Be careful!!
Your living the rural American dream man.
Wow, a video 2 days in a row! Thanks!
Love your videos
What a great view from the top of silo
I remember doing this as a kid. I also remember how hot it was inside that silo.
I watch a number of Farmers. This is my new favorite - by far.
