Thank you for confirming that I made the right decision in canceling my CT reservation 😬. Glad you still like it though. (CT Reddit mods would ban me for this comment, again)
its so toxic over there! you say anything critical and you get a ban. I have 3 on order and at this point I just am going to ask for my money back because this is insane how terrible of a product this is and how overprice it and all the accessories for it are.
$2,975 for this abomination of a tent (that's damaging the car)? Thanks, someone had to try it. Maybe you can sell it to someone... PS: in 15 minutes, I have set up my coleman 3-person tent.
It’s not damaging the car. It’s damaging his wrap he added. They don’t come in anything but metal which I assume it would not damage. But I completely agree… it’s a crazy gimmick.
Haha I mean shortcomings aside, it did serve its primary function as a tent. (Especially comparing this experience to simply sleeping in the vault with the tonneau closed) The self leveling tent mode opens up opportunities to camp places that would normally be too harsh. It’s by no means perfect, but it got the job done. I hope future iterations can address my concerns, somehow gain access to the cabin HVAC, make the setup a bit less janky, and of course bring the cost down.
Hahahaha these cars are so dumb. Is there anything on them which actually works as intended? And $700 for a terrible cooler and thousands for a tent? hahahahaha!
If you're using a cooler for drinks for a day or dinner/gathering, then use cubes, but if you're using it for camping, then you're supposed to use a block of ice. But also, that thing works about as good as a $100 cooler...

I’d say this should almost be expected of version 1. Hoping my feedback is heard by Tesla 🙏 I’ve always been an early adopter for things, naturally it doesn’t always work out perfectly the first time. Btw…CT was paid in full. Thanks for your concern.
Cyber this, Cyber that. Tesla has gone full apple mode where it’s all about selling gimmicks to fans. I barely remember when Teslas mission was getting “affordable” electrical cars out the door. My engineering heart hasn’t stopped bleeding since the first time I saw details about this car and they just double down on stupid. It’s inexcusable that it damages OEM parts when used correctly and the rest is just disappointing.
A lot of tents have this issue of moisture getting through the fabric and condensating on the inside by morning. You can fix this problem by holding your breath while you sleep.

@kuthegorix Why would you pre-order a product you think is terrible, and 3 no less? Typical brain drain consumer.😂
$3K for the tent and $700 for the cooler is crazy. 😮
The cooler isn't even powered, just a plastic bin for 700 dollars.
@@Osiris02 Really? thanks for that info! You saved me 700$
"not totally watertight" my brother in Christ that is a hole, I can see light through it.
So this is what $100K of buyers remorse feels like.
Don’t forget tax 💸

$3k is crazy for this 😂
The change in voice pitch when he says "overall great experience with the cyber tent" 😂 8:15

Hope the trailer hitch doesn't break off and kill anyone.
This video is a 12 minute demonstration of the sunk cost fallacy.
That morning condensation is your breath as well.

Cyberbin?
You got trolled and scammed by Musk :/
So basically it’s a pile of garbage that doesn’t work, just like the rest of the truck.

Just don't tow anything with that "truck" the aluminum body frame tends to break in half lol 😂
I would trust a vehicle from Temu over this sun bleached Pepsi can.
Wow! Now I’ve seen it all!

😅noted! Will use plastic bag over head so I don’t have to hold breath, work harder not smarter 🧠
id reach out to tesla about the cooler, that should not be acceptable especially with how much that abomination costs
That's....a tad depressing
Anything tesla is just a massive fail😂
Hoping to use my voucher towards the range extender if possible. Any idea?
@@MixyDoodle no word on when that’ll be released and how much room it’ll take up
