Brazilian Park Washuzan Highland Review | Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan

- This amusement park is home to 3 roller coasters, and is located on the side of a hill! As a result, it features an insane amount of stairs that separate the bottom of the park from the top! The top of the park gives an outstanding view of the surrounding area, including the Great Seto Bridge and surrounding islands!

Six Flags: We are the discount parks.
Brazilian Park Washuzan Highland: Hold my beer.
LOL!
Hold my $2 chicken sandwich
“By Brazilian theme I mean they play Pit Bull on the speakers” 😂😂😂
Fun fact: Japanese parks are empty but they get some more people in the park on sundays because that's the day everybody is off school or work
Brazilian Park Washuzan Highland: $2 for a chicken sandwich meal
Disney: $5 for a lukewarm bottle of water
Six flags $7 for a water bottle
Disney: $200 for a plastic lightsaber
$60 shirts at Disney too :/
Cringe
As a brazilian this is so funny to me lmao
I would die not knowing there is a Brazil themed theme park in Japan.
Me: watching another video
Coaster Studios: uploads a video
Me: watches Taylor’s video instead
Theme parks and roller coasters are such an amazing hobby to have!
I visited back in 2018. The Togo looper was the only coaster open back then, too. And it was super rusted looking before the paint job but offered a good ride.
If this place was a six flags park they could take the world record for most M&M stairs.
Washuzan translates to Mount Washu, which isn't really a mountain because it's only 436 feet tall, it's just a really big hill.
feels like you just climbed a Mountain by the time you reach the top!
Can you imagine one of those bike rides at Glenwood Caverns?
omg that'd be incredible
you should make a playlist of your Japan park reviews, in case you ever go back it'll be easy for people to find them all.
I have a full playlist for all the park reviews i have done in alphabetical order by the parks name. If you just want japan park reviews, what I recommend doing is go to the search bar on my channel and just type in “Japan review” and any theme park or coaster I’ve reviewed that has those two words in the title will show up.
@@CoasterStudios you make a good point, though I've seen all your Japan park reviews already since I plan to go for two weeks in 2021 or 2022 depending on how things play out.
As a Brazilian, I’m flattered that this park exists, but there are so many better themes they could’ve gone with 😂
That sky cycling ride looks like a clickbaiters dream
as a brazilian the title of the video got me very confused for a moment
Disney: _refuses to make the Brazil pavillion at EPCOT_
This park: *hold my theming*
Finally this park with that wierd bike ride lmao. 90% of the park’s have a Togo? Build a damn skyride come on! Nice drop tower at least 220 feet
Togo is good in Japan.
I miss this place ❤
Why go hiking when you can you go at Brazillian Highland stairs?
$26 might be worth it if all the coasters were operating to their full extent. But imo, for 1 coaster and an experience, $15 sounds about right. But glad to hear you guys had a fun time there.
I wish I could go to Japan
Nice!
The stand up is pretty interesting, they run the backwards train from opening to 12:30 pm, and then run the stand up train from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, and then from 4:00 pm till park close, they run the backwards train.
Thanks for telling this is not a coaster! Very cool!
You should make a "Stair Review" for all the Japan parks XD
Came from Pop Team Epic Season 2 to see what this park was since it was randomly in an episode lol.
Pop Team Epic send me here.
Thats nuts they make you walk up the hill. Have a skyride or some sort of transportation ride!
Popuko and Pipimi sent me here on a Sunday
Can you please bring back the coaster fights that would be great also great video 👍
Brazil has the largest population of people of Japanese descent outside the country of Japan. Knowing this, the name/theme of the park makes a little more sense.
You should do a coaster parody on do-dodompa
Done! ua-cam.com/video/_WsDGu9RkWU/v-deo.html
@@CoasterStudios how did I not see it. I've watched all you videos for the last few years. Imma go watch that
Glurgh
Interestingly strange kep it up taylor
nice
I haven't heard of half of the Japan parks you have been to but I like learning about them. Also that 2 dollar chicken sandwich is ridiculous. It cost me 35 dollars to get 4 slices of pizza and 2 sodas at Six Flags Great Adventure. That is more than the cost of admission for this place. I live on Long Island, NY and I have a local amusement park called Adventureland. They only have 2 coasters (a mack spinning coaster a little similar to Sierra Sidewinder and a kiddie coaster), a few thrill rides, and mostly family oriented flat rides and the price of admission is 35 dollars!
They should rename this park Brazilian Park Exersize Park
I haven’t been to an amusement park since Nara dreamland shut down. Not counting taking my girl to disney sea yearly. I should look into parks here. I wouldn’t even know where to start honestly.
My legs and feet would give out walking up those stairs
Oh my gosh, in that observation wheel not only would I be very hot but I wouldn't be able to breathe! So as much as I would love to go on that, I would have to pass! I rather enjoy breathing lol.
If they are repainting the attractions, hopefully that means the park will get the tlc they need. I think if they keep on improving then that will help keep the future of the park alive.
may I ask, what is tlc? table, ladder, chair?(just kidding)
Herman No, Table Latter Company! Get it right!
@@roxynano Hi, I Google "table latter company" and find nothing. What does TLC do?
Herman With TLC it actually means, “Tender Loving Care”
So when it needs some love, it needs some TLC.
Great and funny review! Was it possible to pedal backwards on the cycle ride? Also a nice way to get a dolly shot!
Thank you! Yes, it is possible!
pop team epic brought me here
6:56 wait is that the drop tower from buffalo Bill's hotel and casino. It looks exactly the same. And it says turbo drop
I played Bingo at Toverland during their long Summer Nights.
I rode a ride like the cycling ride at legoland California
And I thought BG Williamsburg had alot or stairs by the river....
I really like the filming style, but I think it would have been nice if you held the shots a little longer. Especially the edit of the Togo coaster around 3:00. The smooth pan of the camera didn't work with such a snappy edit between clips. Theme Parks are high energy places but this slow, methodical filming balances that out so well! keep it up
8:41 Taylor sound like a GP clickbait channel
At first I thought it was a review about that biking ride
Srry I'm not good with Japan ride names
I'll probably visit this park in a few weeks...but seems like you guys praised their low price a but too much. It's now 3800 yen, which feels a bit much for a park with rather few attractions. And they better have that Ultra Twister running now....but I'll be honest: I'll basically go just for that Sky Cycle....
How many stairs? Did you ask some 1? Did you count them? (( BET NOT ON BOTH ))
how far down to japan did you guys go ? did you also visited Space world in Fukuoka ?
Space World closed a while ago, so we did not get to visit. We spent a night in Fukuoka though! The furthest south we went was to Greenland.
and a little bit funkii
Ha its like Magic Mountain with stairs 😀 but there is the honda Express
Except there’s no M&Ms on the stairs

I'm really curious on how you plan your trips? Do you just join a group that had a trip already planned and let yourself get surprised by the rides, so that you can get as close as a GP experience you can?
It seems the running theme in your videos- other than stellar footage- is your lack of knowledge in advance on what makes the parks special or stand out - like the skycycle ride here or the fairytale woods at Eifteling.
I found it really frustrating until realising it's simply another way to experience parks and that not all coaster enthusiasts are obliged to have encyclopedic knowledge of what's out there- it's a different vibe.
Did the Skycycle go towards your Coaster Count? (i.e. Coaster Credit)
he said in the beginning it didn’t count as one of the 3 coasters so I don’t think so
I only clicked the video because I saw "Brazilian" in the title followed by some unknown words and, as a good Brazilian myself, curiosity got the best of me.
I'm sad to see the only Brazilian thing there was the dude and the stairs colours. I imagine the owner is / was Brazilian, so who knows.
Is their pink coaster sky rider from CW?
No sky rider was relocated to some place in Italy
While I don’t think I’d call $26 cheap for that small of a Park in aging condition. The view really looks great, so I guess for that reason alone it’s fine.
#legday
Another great review, but this park is one I wouldn’t visit. It’ll probably be closed by the time I make it to Japan and I also wouldn’t want to run the risk of the bike ride being closed because there’s not much else to Brazilian Park.
There's no reason for the bike ride to be closed because it doesn't require electricity to power. It's not like a roller coaster that can have technical issues. That being said, I totally understand how you would skip this place.
Coaster Studios I mean they will probably do a repaint at some point so that’s how I could see it being closed.
“By Brazilian theme I mean they play lots of Pitbull over the radio” pitbull isn’t even Brazilian 😂😂
That may be, however the owners have determined that that is what best establishes the theme here! For whatever reason it sets the mood😂
i dont know if the review was helpful but your commentary sure was funny.
€1,72 for a *chicken sandwich*. That’s not just a onheard of price at theme parks. That’s cheaper than almost every single thing in our school canteen. And cheaper than every sandwich in our canteen. Probably could just barely score a sandwich for that at the supermarket.
Brazilian Park Japan
I'm so confused right now
Fernando Valencia Brazil and Japan have a long history
What if this park were in Brazil?
then it would be called Japanese Park Washuzan Highland
LMAO
It's kinda like Parque España which translates to Spain Park. And if it were in Spain, it would be called 日本公園. Which is Japanese for Japan Park.
they run the stand up train at different times of the day, not different days
That may be, but they didn't do that when I was there. It was the same train the entire time.
@@CoasterStudios maybe that was back when it was called star jet and it had the rusty white color scheme
Washuzan = Mount Washu.
Even more hilly than Silver Dollar City AND Dollywood?
those parks have some hilly moments, but this park is basically on the side of a Mountain lol
Coaster Studios that's pretty impressive. Also just found out about Indiana Beach; I'm not sure who Gene Staples is, but he's a new hero in the amusement park industry😅
Yo what the heck happened to your playlists
Nothing...? They're all still there.
It seems that, based on Coaster Studios reviews, many of the Japanese theme parks seem old, run down, not too many rides, and having a giant ferris wheel.
The exception of course, is Fuji Q
coaster studios: so much stairs
me, an intellectual: WELCOME TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS CALIFORNIA
That is a DISGUSTING amount of stairs!!!! ;-)

They made an amusement park about one of the worst countries in the world, on one of the best countries in the world. Oh the irony.
wtf , brazilian theme park in Japan
bkR-. • Brazil has the largest population of Japanese people outside Japan. So this probably tribute
