Praise the Lord we were exposed to this fantastic music held at Inspirations Park in Cherokee, NC where our parents took us for vacation summer after summer!! By far, one of the BEST Gospel Albums ever made!!!! ARCHIE blows me away!!!

i grew up with a lot of southern Gospel still love it but now i listen to all types of christian music. but still nothing like what i grew up with like these guys, Gaithers, the green family, the hays family. might as well put it this way NC is the home of some of the greatest christian musicians to ever live.
I used to listen to them with my Mamaw for hours when I would stay with her. She owned ever record (vinyl) they ever put out and my Uncle, Dad and brother would sing their songs in church. We always had front row seats in that little church and it was always packed. They even came to my school and performed.
I REAMBER going to boutwell when i was just a child with my mom an dad to see the old inspiration i LOVED them still do they planted a seed in me guess it was in 1973 my dad was a police officer i reamber he would get home an mom would have us ready to go see them dad would wear his uniform i was so proud of him but always left his service pistol in the car didn't need it back then he was man enuff to take care of things with out it hes since gone home to be with the lord me my brother followed him in law enforcement im a strong believer in the word an them ole boys from Bryson city did ir for me when i was 8 years old ive had my ups an downs just like my brothers have my brother vaughn was a Birmingham police officer for over 20 years an a pastor ar ebexner Baptist church in west over Alabama im so proud of him his boys are pastors now even though were all out of LAW enforcement now we love the lord an so proud of ben an josh my nephews i dont see them ENUFF ther great boys good mom that i love dearler an great moms racheal lol love you so much i kinda love ben to lol got great kids RAISED godley just stop feeding ethan hes hugh EVERBODY pray for my family i pray for yours evernite i love each an ever one of yall

Not sure if you knew this or not, but Uncle Arthel "Doc" Watson -whole family had these albums everywhere - he bought them and brought them over for Grandma Ruby (his sister) and listened to them for hours on end. I hope you already know God for yourself, but if you don't know Him you can know Him today. Jesus suffered, bled and died to pay for your sins and mine, out of love for us! Salvation is in faith, but one must first realize that they are a lost sinner and will die and burn in hell for all eternity without Christ. Once we see ourselves, all one needs to do is repent of their sins, and put their faith in God: believe with all their heart that He will forgive every sin. And ask Him to save their soul from hell with all faith and all sincerity! Believe in God and He will save you today. If you have never gone to God and repented of your sins and put your faith in Him, now is the time my friend.
