Just found your channel randomly gotta say you did a good job man ! I'm from California, just got my g37 2008 maybe 5 months ago ... I'm 31 years old. Before this car I had a 98 Acura Integra that I modified as needed, swapped engine , sport lowering springs and several other things but the cops hhaaaaaaated my car. Seriously I got pulled over three days IN A ROW one week and I wasn't even driving crazy or anything. This car definitely gives me the power I have always wanted plus the luxury of NO attention from cops ..... Unless I step on it lol. Definitely subbed man good video gonna look for more vids so I can like them too

I was looking for a video explaining the features on the G37. Although I am 3 years late (sorry about that) AWESOME video. By now you most likely have another ride. I noticed that the headlights wear out quick on this car and the stereo isn't the best. Besides those two things, I love this car. Thank you for the straight forward video. Really Cool.

I drive a 08 G37 Journey coupe and I honestly thought nav, the rear camera, sunroof, memory seats, and phone Bluetooth all came standard. Boy was I wrong
yeah nahhh as much as i wanted those things i needed to skip the sunroof for the headroom so i had to find s base
I have a 2014 (it is actually a Q60S but that is just a rebadged G37S) Mine is a 6 speed manual but loaded.
Sun roof, tech package and such. But one thing I thank God I don't
have is that accident avoidance and that smart cruise control. I had mine in
for service and Infiniti gave me a 2018 QX50 as a loaner. That cruise and accident avoidance
system is a nightmare. I went to pass someone and the thing all of a sudden just
chopped power as I was pulling out to go around. It was so unpredictable. You never
knew what it was going to do with the throttle response or brakes. The only thing
that annoys me about my Q60S is that damn rattle that sounds like it is coming from
somewhere near the bottom of the windshield. I have been unable to figure out what it is.
Other then that, I love the car. The seats are excellent. even the upper and lower side bolsters
are power adjustable. And it has two memory settings so you can set up the seat two
different ways and select between them (only when stopped, though). Having the back
seat fold down allows one to carry long things in the car. I would not suggest the manual shift
for people living in more urban and suburban areas. But I live in the country and it is much more fun and
responsive then the 7 speed automatic. The car is a lot heavier then my 350Z and you can tell in it's handling.
I like the car and it fits me perfectly since I am around 150 lbs and 5'8. I'd imagine for larger people
the fit would be a bit tight since with the seat all the way down toward the floor I only have about
a fist's distance between my head and the roof. Mine does have a sun roof so maybe the roof liner is a
little lower then on cars without a sun roof. My car also came with the mirror like tint windows from the factory.
The front windshield also has some sort of anti glare tint on it. Looks black from the outside, but
is clear as a bell when looking out from the driver's seat. Infiniti told me this is an option on a few
of these cars. All in all, it is a really nice driving car. Very balanced with respect to ride, handling and power.
While many cars have fantastic power, they don't have the handling to match. Anyone can build a fast
0-60 car. It takes talent to build a reasonably fast accelerating car that can also handle well and stop
equally well. These cars are very tastefully appointed and have a feel of quality that is sorely lacking in
most cars today.
Is it horrible on gas ?

I Found two nearly identical as you explained. An 08 g35 and and 13 g37 same color that pretty blue Did my homework and both wasnt in my favor. The same weekend my coworker and I found a 08 g35x and 12 maxima s sv same color super black. We Been happy every since. Maybe we can all link up.

Great review, a few mistakes, like the Brembo brakes being Akebono. Stillen intake will get you about 6-10 horsepower, but makes no difference in the RPM range where the car makes its top power. HFC is your best bet for max power increase per dollar spent (with tune). the Automatic on the 08 models is the 5AT which has very nice gearing. The 7AT on the later models is actually not as nice when accelerating. The 5AT is more linear. Overall, looks great, curious to see where your build goes.

I have a g37s and i haven't checked but I'm sure I get more than 10 miles a gallon! that's odd.
i only drive it in sport, always shift higher up in the rev band. and i live in a traffic filled city. when I'm on the highway ill get about 24 mpg. but ill monitor the MPGs for sure. i love having fellow g owners on the channel so feel free to subscribe for more G content. I'm doing my 5 things i hate and love on my G pretty soon

Great Car Im Searching For A G37S As We Speak But It Has To Have A Sunroof & Every Other Option Available On This Model
Many of the features missing from your car came standard in the later models maybe 2010 or so such as the backup camera and bluetooth. I seem to get about 16mpg in east orlando in my 2012 g37s. I have been super happy with my car and contemplating rhe q60 red sport when the price comes down a little more.

No sunroof dam that's tuff. I got a blk 08 coupe as well blk interior on paper it says it's a sport but i don't got sport seats I do got navi and camera no paddle shifters tho nd I do got a sunroof do u have any idea y on paper it says its a sport journey tho..
How do you have a base G37 wth paddle shifters, sports seat, I know you can buy sports pedal cause I have base that came with no shifters, but I have memory settings Infiniti created sport,journey, base and you can't figure which one you cause all come wth something different.

just got my g37s a few weeks ago, i bought it with aftermarket rims, still 19 inches but the tire pressure sensor is on like yours. did changing the sensor make that light go away in the dash?

Bro you just don't have the Technology Package that typically comes with the Journey Package. I wanted and G37S, but decided the only reason was because of the paddle shifters. However after finding out you can add these later.

I don't know if you got to that part in the video but I mentioned how much I would have preferred 3 pedals. But it's almost impossible to find a clean low mileage manual G without a sunroof. But subscribe for more content on my G and othe reviews in the future
Yeah man I hear you it took me upwards of 5-6 months of searching to find one with low mileage, no accidents and manual. But man I would have it no other way... such a blast to drive. Mine's the same colour as yours too but it's fully loaded with every single option . Got a little lucky I guess :)

Still got paddle shifters if ur in the mood to use them. Living in Orlando, no matter how much u luv driving a manual, u want an automatic for your daily drive. It can get old driving a stick shift in stop and go traffic for 30-45 mins..
I picked up a 2012 g37s 2 weeks ago. Black exterior & interior. Its seems like a base on paper but it's got all the features of an S: sunroof, memory seats, paddle shifters, chrome pedals, upgraded stitching in seats, navigation, rear camera, front bumper lip, etc.. it's such a sweet ride. Only 57K miles. I wanted a manual but I didn't get lucky. I've wanted one for a long time. I still have my 09 Accord V6 too.

Noo its more than that, when i accelerate, the BRAKE light comes on for about 3-4 seconds, and after that i get my VDC off and SLIP light permanently on and i know i'mt not going fast enough to lose traction lol. The VDC and SLIP light doesn't go out until I turn off the car completely, i guess somethings wrong with the electronic under my dash
Jin O did you ever find out the issue? I've noticed it more recently in mine as mine as well. Was it brake pads or brake fluid? I plan on getting my brakepads replaced next month.
Jino my brake light issue ended up being due to low brake fuild. Even thou it wasnt near the minimum line,I topped it off and the red brake light is gone. My car has 46k mi. Still gonna have to replace brake pads soon.
