Technically that's no theory but what the Ultramarines do, do they not? They keep their memory, they know where they come from, even if the memory is fading with the centuries of their service. Every boy wants to become one and their family and homeworld is proud if one of them is chosen. They give up their humanity to serve humanity but they know why they fight and for whom.

Can I suggest: Wholly non-Imperium space marines? As in: A non-imperium human civilisation, like the interrex or auretian technocracy, get their hands on gene-seed, took it apart and worked how to replicate it. So you'd have a small group of space-marine knock-offs that would had a wholly different training and raising: they might be pro-xenos, have all their memories, The space marine 'design' stagnated for 10,000 years until the primaris came along. What would happen if it was under active R & D to improve it by some quite faction beyond the astronomicon's reach? How far might such off-brand space marines progressed? How might they have specialised? What if the found a variant with a much lower rejection rate, allowing them to make such augmentations, even in part, standard for their armed forces? in that case even a small non-imperium civ might manage to be a serious threat.

Question: do you think the Necrons would still be pissed off if the Imperium offered to weld some of those brass balls that hang off the back of pickup trucks to their bodies?

Fun list. It bring to mind, mankind’s greatest chance of survival, lies in the unlikely scenario of cooperating with a collective of Xenos, against the worst out there.

The one about a Chaos Space Marine getting a chaos born child was actually in a short story back in the late 90s. It involved Slaanesh and Dark Eldar, and the Space Marine in question was the mom, not father. It was also side content on the story as the Child was the Villain of the Story.

    These were extremely interesting concepts!!
Ork-Space marines, fit the violent requirements. Spliced with Carcharodon gene-seed and growing with battle prowess, Tyberos the Red Wake would soon become one of the smallest members!!
    Sounds F'in! Awesome!!

Sister and Astartes will need more than lore bending. Some anatomical Physics bending will be needed too. Its a 10 kilos in a 5 kilo bag situation.

The reason why the Iron Hands should not, use Necron tech is because those 8:35 necrons are dead. Their machines would be like Ferrus Mannus.
The next theory sounds more pleasant I sometimes wonder why humanity doesn't unite, and fight our enemies in a common cause. But its because their leaders dictate how xenos are viewed I guess.
The space marines are so special to pick one, is like finding a flower growing in a garden. They are not ao different but also stronger than the rest of mankind, I assume also that each one can have immediate family. Like a sister or a cousin that were picked to serve.

Thanks for making this! I love the ideas on display here, but there's no way the Imperium would ever, under any circumstances, enter into any long term peaceful agreement, on any large scale, with Xenos like the Tau - even in the face of a 3rd party threat. On occasions, in the midst of otherwise unwinnable battles, maybe, until the 3rd party threat is dealt with. But even if there are enough folk in the Imperium's command structure who have thrown off their indoctrination enough to recognise the benefits of such an agreement - doing so would threaten the idea of humanity's 'manifest destiny' to dominate the galaxy. The Imperium doesn't even allow most of it's ground-level citizens to know Xenos really exist, and where they do they are portrayed as irredeemably monstrous. To enter into an open, large scale, peaceful trading agreement would cause an Imperium-wide civil war. The most you might get is a bit of low level trade being turned a blind eye to by local authorities, and their blind-eye-turning being itself turned a blind eye to by those above them - if the benefits were flowing to the right pockets, and were good enough.

When it comes to SM's having families what about the old adage that 'Life will prevail?" By that I mean that there's always the chance that a SM will not be rendered sterile by the process. Then he can simply breed in the old fashioned way provided he can find a woman capable of enduring him and carrying carrying his baby.

Renegade space marines are specifically defined by not being backed by either chaos or the imperium, what?? There are plenty of examples, like the Soul Drinkers who have been declared renegade and are still loyal.

I love your channel. I know you get lots of comments saying this but I want you to remember something.… We humans always notice danger and warnings. That is why 1/100 comments say this is rubbish, and that's the one we remember. Knowing this helps you to not get cross about trolls….people are also stupid sometimes myself included. I posted a rant on the wrong channel and then had to explain myself 😊.
So keep being you, you don't have a choice, and I happen to think you are talented. You are against a lot of competition yet you keep growing. The cream does rise to the top in 40k channels.
Please remember what I said and next time you turn to rage or are randomly thinking I G about some idiot saying. @NO THE FIREBIRDS HAD ORANGE AND RED ARMOUR IS NOT RED AND ORANGE”
    Lol All the best 💯❤️🤖

I'll always make some exceptions but I don't really like WesHammer that much. His style is played out and his hairdo is ridiculous. He might be a nice guy but his style isn't for me most of the time. I like the style of Baldermorts guide to Warhammer and other deep dive lore masters like him and Nutbug does some awesome Warhammer lists.

@@DeathBYDesign666 I get that. I have been on a deep lore delve for a year. My interest peaks and wanes. I am listening to The Amber King on the way into work this week, in between “The Genefarher” on audible. £22. I like The Remberecer too. I like a lot of different channels. Starter with Lutin and Bladwrmort. They got me back in 20 or more years after I savaged a Blood Angle Titian with my attempts at painting. I thought if I read White Dwarf once I could paint like them. That was in the 1990s. I couldn't, fot pissed, grew up, and still can't, but I think most important I try. I realise I'm not going to be that bloke who restores models and uploads them. I fell into music. I was forced into it with church as a kid so I guess I have always done it. I got over not being able ro draw on paint during covid. I did not get you had to practise. I could just play instruments fairly easily, but if course I was living in it. I started doing mindfulness colouring in, which sucked, but kept at it. Now I feel confident enough to give them as presents. This doesn't have a point. I know philosophy to go round in circles. This particular channel is pretty good.
For the Armed Star God that will lick us all.
Edit: The dicking “us” at the end. Probably should have read through. :/

@@Erebusdidnothingwrongish I can actually relate to that, I mean the design part of my name is quite literal. I was on the verge of building a multinational corporation of artists of my particular category, which was what you could call "underground graphic art design" and I couldn't handle the pressure of it. Everyone flocked to me for some reason, even artists that were way ahead of me and have already made their marks, I even had one guy that had since had logos in actual movies and had been a part of the underground community from the start. I'm always the unintentional leader, no matter what I do or don't do. I never had the church experience but I have been pushed by people in directions that weren't my own, but the one thing I don't want is to be the man.
