What a nightmare but hey your sorted and another story to tell around the campfire 🙂alls well that end well as they say great to see you smiling again 😂 enjoy the rest of your trip. M 🏍💨
Jeez... that was seriously back luck! Your sense of frustration and despondency was clear. Just glad to see that you managed to get back on the road... 👍👍
I had the same bolt sheer on my SE just outside Chambery, France. The bike was taken Annecy the next morning. It also took about an hour to have the old thread removed, and a new bolt fitted. On another trip I got a bad puncture* (required a new tyre) in France on a Friday. Nowhere open until Tuesday. Stranded in a motel for three days of my trip☹️. These things happen. Especially to Trophy owners it seems🤪. It’s still a great bike though👍 *The pressure monitor gave a great early warning.
OMG i was nearly crying for you, did you manage to cancel the hotels for Fri/Sat/Sun, but my Mum always used to say things happen for a reason although totally unacceptable at the time, again so lonley but I am sure Toby wasn't far way 😇
Yeah... It was a tough couple of days! Haha.. but the support team was there for me, the hotel staff were fantastic, I had a good book and I had all the regular streaming platforms!
I really do feel your anxiety. On the other hand this is excellent to watch. Schadenfreude makes great viewing
Thank you!... And thanks for taking the time to comment!

It was one of those situations where it was going to be 'funny when looking back' at it.. But at the time, I was seriously worried! Haha! 🤣
