You use the jockey wheel to level out the van. Drop legs are there only to stabilize the van once level. They are not meant to be used to raise or lower the van. Also get a topper for the mattress from Clark rubber.

How did youtube know to recommend this vid to me? Like you, we're under the pump to finish renovating the house before we head off in the van - Dec 20th! The van is out the front, and it's all guns blazing - but it's a tough slog. I am hugely impressed with your efforts on the floors - I will be cheating and laying down carpet 😁 Good luck guys, subscribed and looking forward to your travel vids...

The gears in the stabiliser legs would/will fail eventually if putting too much stress on them. If you do not already, use your cordless drill with a 19mm socket for the stabilisers. Much more betterer !!! By the way, when you empty the dunny, once you have the tube as close as possible to the dump point hole, press the blue spring loaded air vent button to assist/speed up the emptying process & save your back !!

Bash the floor up a bit more and call it patina!
Glue mixed with saw dust makes a good filler too, matches the timber
Don't reckon it's mold, looks like hardwood bleed

I agree with the sun down here in the south. I'm getting a good 50% power compared to Qld.

Why not use a amphibian 10 to 15 amp converter cord from Bunnings, did you not punch all the nails and fill before sanding 😮

Asbestos, it can be a nasty thing. I was exposed to one of the worst asbestos (brown) 12 years ago and now get tested every 4 years, at 63 years old I’m still free from it but do worry from time to time. Enough of the doom and gloom I still have my wife, german shepherd, 4WD and caravan, I’m good to explore. Cheers.
