Thanks for this and the sock info. My cast is a lot lower on my hand so i dont have much use of my hurt fingers; just wonder how to tie laces with a broken wrist ?
Lucky for you having the use of both hand / fingers. I only have use of one. I can surprisingly tie with the one hand (loosely) then tuck it under the tongue. Luckily I also have the Adidas shoes that the tongue is connected, so if someone ties tight for me, i can slip on and off.

Why medical conditions do you have to get a cast so often?
Torn tendons that need to be immobilized to prevent further damage or rupture.
