I know, right?? I actually tried a climbing rose, less heavy because the tree is fragile. But it wasn't black walnut tolerant,(there is one next to the area) and neither is climbing hydrangea. I'd love American Wisteria, but I'm afraid over time it would pull the tree down 😬.

Love your garden wonderful plant varieties! Yes deer are a big issue for us as well. This year I'm moving all my hostas closer to the house. 😮
