Barkha you are spot on people on ground more so the rural masses go by what they feel and experience. Many in Media and Cheer leaders of Cong are Metro based and hv contacts wd similar privileged. Some deliberately ignore the ease of living, the increased non farming livelihood opportunities, big infra push. Employment n Price had always been issues in all elections. Modi is being seen as the best to solve and deliver. Through out his tenure has been speaking on his achievements which Opposition taunted as Falsehoods..Now during election they say he is not speaking on achievements. He can't leave some divisive narratives unanswered and is countering them...the last weapon ie Caste Card. But opposition doesn't understand that voters have moved ahead as far as LS elections are concerned bcz the reservation benefits were cornered by just few groups not the masses amongst them. Modi has proven himself as a leader genuinely trying to improve India on all fronts ..Infra, Poverty, Delivery, Growth, Crisis, Economy, Defence, International Prestige etc wd Less Corruption in governance.

Barkha. Low turnout always helps incumbents. Understand this basics. Turnout is low where BJP is dominant so that means the anti BJP voter is not coming out. In areas where BJP is challenging incumbents - Bengal & Assam - turnout is high.
And the turnout was only 3% lower in first two phases, in the next two it is at par with 2019. And dont forget that 2019 turnout was extremely high in comparison to 2014 and 2009. BJP is definitely gaining a bigger mandate this time.
Though I am BJP supporter, low turnout does not always advantage to ruling party. In election like this which does not have any central narrative, low turnout could be a double edged sword.

If overall after 7 phases it's touching 62-63 then it's fine for the parties in a good position in those areas crores of PPL have been added in the total population

I tend to skip over the 90 seconds that Sanjay Jha was speaking. Each time. For the BJP to lose, the seats which BJP won by a margin of 50% vote share and 300k votes, en masse All the voters are going against the BJP in this election.
Barka tried her best to show that It is tough for BJP . Forget about 400 . BJP needs only 273 for majority. That they are easily getting.
The core modi voter in the age range of 18-25 in 2019 are now 5 years older and there is no war like situation of Phulwama. Unemployment is high among these group. So will they blindly vote for BJP?
