I had no idea you were supposed to aggro the skeletons from inside the portal so there wouldn't be so many towards the end. Cannot wait to get home and try this advice!!
This is a great guide. I've read and watched several guides for VH and I never understood the final boss mechanics. This time I only died once on the final boss, which makes me really happy since I absolutely hate these long solo "Arenas". I honestly have never had LESS fun that running ESO solo content. I only did it because it was the weekly event. So thanks for making it as un-painful as possible.
I've managed to clear the trifecta achievement for this arena on my tank DK (which I side specced as a stam DK for this arena) and even then I still learned new things in this video, like the skeletons in the final boss spawning based on health and not time so this is indeed a very nice video! Vateshran is definitely a very fun arena to run for me and I plan to run it more to collect the rest of the weapons and my final achievement left in it.

I don't know if it's designed this way but it is possible to avoid DPS check with the Nightblade using Shadow Image and with the Sorcerer, Bolt Escape (I used Streak) by going through a shade. ^^
I completed this today on vet with a toon with 3712 spell damage and 26.4% crit lol, very weak had pariah and heartlands on. got all the way to last boss before I died. But after 3 deaths and rearranging a couple of skills done it

is it better to skip the things for a faster time or kill the things for the extra points for a score on the blue part? I got into top 5 but I fluffed up the 1st boss on blue stage it enraged to full health, and didn't kill all in the part with a timer or it resets
Be careful when choosing the order of the arenas, if you do say: first green, then red, you will not get the health buff, only the magic one because you didnt get the previous mech
I’m really impressed by the video and the run. On normal I still have trouble killing one of those adds with the ring on the final boss. I always make it, but it’s always very close. Here, they seem to die when you’re not even focusing on them. I guess there’s something off about my build. I thought it was quite good but not compared to this.
I hit the fire orbs however I still take lava/ fire damage from the floor. Is thus a glitch? It happens for me on every run. Also the big skeleton guy. I try to attack him to bring him to me from the lava. And most of the time he stars in the lava spawning little skeletons.
you have to be in the orb's meele range to get the immunity, also if you run a bit further away the colossus will get onto the platform then you can drag the little dudes to him
How can you deal that massive dmg?! I'm just trying to do Vatashran for region completion (some dork decided it counts in region guide -.-) and I just cant 1. survive at all; 2. do any % of your dmg... like 64 pts only in mana in character creator? How do you even survive?! I just love those guides: "to deal with it just get yellow trial set". Just... Just... HOW?
My very first set of questions would be; 1. What's your HP after your DPS food buff? 2. What's your healing source? (Do you just rely on potions, or do you run Resolving Vigor for example or some other reliable heal) 3. Which mythic are you using? Damage doesn't even get to matter unless you can stay alive, so that's a good place to start problem-solving. EDIT; Beyond that, I'd also add that if you can't pull of Vet - Just do normal. No shame in it. The difference between Normal and Vet Weapon Rewards is like, what, 3% of value? Not worth the headache, if the run causes you such.
Can beat The Wounding and Hunter’s Grotto with no deaths. Then I get to Magma Queen and it’s a wrap. Always kills me off. Brimstone den is definitely the hardest for me. Even the final boss is easier.
Pyrelord keeps kicking my ass purely because of the damage he does. I don't know how you're brushing it off but his light attacks alone do so much damage to me that him + the ads is a real struggle
What CP do you recommend for vet vateshran? I can easily clear normal, no deaths with warden but I tried vet and it’s like I’m hitting like a wet noodle. Great video, guide was very helpful for my normal clears!

all about "mechanics" what a joke, he literally hit by everything, this is CP2000 and gear, no mechanics at all, just kill everything is all i heard for that last boss fight, same guy will tell you it has nothing to do with gear and skills and is all mentality... this game so broken. You want to show 'mechanics'? beat vet with a nightblade med armor and a bow, then you can say mechanics, playing meta sorc has nothing to do with "mechanics". one pve build to rule them all, not mechanics....
I love how all these guides make it look so freaking easy, I got the oakensoul ring and thought I can surely do this....nope biggest mistake ever🤣 these ads move slow and hit like noodles meanwhile in my run they run as if they were pvp player and hit like a semi-turck🥲
Ring of the pale order NOT oakensoul. You will see a HUGE difference if you are looking for a mythic to "survive". Just make sure you don't stop hitting stuff :)

If you struggle to do it on vet still by any chance you could try sorc or nightblade to teleport past

That’s usually because you lack pen. Need 10-12k+ at least from my experience, mobs in there are way tankier than vma
