The Scary Word "Palliative" and What it Really Means For Patients

As a patient with a rare form of cancer (appendix), when i first heard the word palliative, I freaked out!
Here is what it really means.
You can search online and read more about it. It's really about your quality of life and is completely different from hospice. It does not mean The End.
