CataractCoach™ 2285: traumatic cataract with iridodialysis

Traumatic cataracts are challenging because we are not often aware of the full extent of the damage to the delicate ocular structures. In this case, we can see a white cataract with subcapsular fibrosis as well as iridodialysis. Very Nice case! Why did he use an extra tunnel for rhexis and iol implantation? To keep AC more stable?

Yes. there is a risk of iris prolapse especially in a case of dialysis and it is much more easier to do a CCC and to implant the IOL through 2.4 incision.
