Hey all, i am also wondering about invesment into the SoD phase 4. Currently i have about 4k gold stacked and as i dont need them to use now cuz i am already BIS i want to use full budget to invest. Thinking also about golden pearl but maybe i would prefer time-limited crafts like Arcanite bar -- Mooncloth -- Cured Rugged Hide-- What u think about these Mr. Goblin?
Yeah, I think like you as well. I'm making a video about it too. But there are some downsides, like many people will stack a huge amount of cured rugged leather like myself, so we may have issues if Blizzard introduces a new way to get pre-BiS items like in Phase 3 (it literally made so many profession crafts and BOEs useless).
Sitting around 30g on my server atm, was thinking a small handful may still be worth it even this late. With how much gold is in SoD I can see them at least pushing to 60g to double my money.
To be honest, after what Blizzard did to the SOD market in Phase 3, I wouldn't buy a golden pearl for 30g. However, since there isn't an actual decent Golden Pearl Farm in Classic WoW, it could still be worth the investment.

I'm fishing for about an hour to 2 hours a day in Azshara for winter squid. By the time you're able to cook it, you won't be able to fish for it anymore until mid-September.
That was indeed a clever investment move, one that hadn't occurred to me. However, I have a slight concern that Blizzard might make adjustments, allowing people to benefit even if it wasn't intended for the season. Let's hope they don't consider it, though! 😅

When investing, factor in gold's fluctuating value; minimal profits often align with gold value drops. As for elemental earth, its price won't spike significantly due to its easy farm. However, farming golden pearl is akin to gambling, given its extreme rarity; the market cannot quickly adjust its price in case of a value spike. As I said in the end of the video, you should do your own calculation to see if it's worth it or not.
@@TheRatchetGoblin and thats it, you cant calculate in sod cause item which were worth a couple of gold in classic can be trash in the end cause the meta switched to 2h warrior etc etc
@@AlCap0leIsnt golden pearl used for the 30sp enchant?Unless they add some giga busted enchant its gonna skyrocket for sure.Especially now that Elemental shamans are going for 2x weapons in PvE for 2x oil + 2x 30sp would be nutty for sure. I feel like Elemental Earth isnt used as much as Golden Pearl is early on.
Then you just googled what to invest in without having any knowledge why elemental earth is valueable. AQ40 and elemental sharpening stones drove up the price, there is literally no reason for people to consume alot of elemental earth this early in the game.
